For Roblox’s Basketball Showdown—also listed as Kuroku’s Basket Showdown—two codes are reported by multiple guides with matching rewards: UPDATE! and CHRONOSHIFT. Their current status has not been independently verified in-game, so treat them as codes to try rather than guaranteed active rewards.

Their reported rewards and availability differ between guides, so none should be treated as confirmed working from those lists alone. One guide reports that freeOPcode is restricted to private servers; check the game prompt if you try it.

How to redeem Basketball Showdown codes
- Open the Roblox experience listed as Basketball Showdown or Kuroku’s Basket Showdown.
- If prompted, like the game and join the Secret Game! Roblox group. Some guides report these as eligibility requirements.
- Open the in-game Codes button or menu.
- Enter a code exactly as shown, preserving capitalization and punctuation, then select Redeem.
Follow any additional eligibility message shown in-game. Guides vary on requirements, and the game’s own prompt is the relevant instruction for your account or server.

Why a Basketball Showdown code may not work
- It expired or was disabled. Third-party code lists can lag behind changes in the game.
- The code was mistyped. Copy the exact spelling, capitalization, and punctuation; for example,
UPDATE!includes an exclamation mark. - You have not met an eligibility requirement. Like the game or join the listed group if the game asks you to, and check for any level or other requirement displayed in the prompt.
- The server restriction applies.
freeOPcodeis reported by one guide as private-server-only, though that restriction is not corroborated elsewhere. - The code was already redeemed. If the game reports that it has already been used, it may be a one-time redemption for your account.
If the code still fails after checking the spelling and prompt, treat it as unavailable rather than relying on a roundup’s “active” label.
Where to look for new codes
Guides point players to the game’s Discord and developer or community channels for new codes. The third-party lists cited here do not establish a current official announcement for the codes above. Confirm a code in the game itself, and use the game’s own community links where available rather than assuming a roundup is an official source.
