Senior Hire Coins are recruitment tokens: one coin performs a Senior Hire pull at Club B. Diamonds are Battle Night’s flexible premium currency: you can use them to obtain Senior Hire or Perfect Hire resources and to buy other shop items. A coin is therefore restricted to one recruitment function, while a diamond can be saved, exchanged for a recruitment attempt, or spent elsewhere. The right choice depends on your current recruitment target, the shop price shown on your server, and what you would give up by spending diamonds now.
Senior Hire Coins and diamonds at a glance
| Question | Senior Hire Coin | Diamond |
|---|---|---|
| What is it? | A recruitment token for Senior Hire. | The game’s premium, general-purpose spending currency. |
| Primary use | Performs a Senior Hire pull at Club B. | Buys recruitment resources, including Senior Hire options, and other shop items. |
| Flexibility | Low: its documented function is Senior Hire. | High: save it, convert it into a hire option, or use it on another eligible purchase. |
| How it is obtained | Community guides report the Store, Hyperspace, events and map trades as possible sources. | Used as the premium currency for purchases; the supplied sources do not establish one universal earning rate. |
| Reported shop example | A 2020 guide lists 200 diamonds for a Senior Hire coin; this may vary by version or event. | A third-party guide lists 250 diamonds for a Senior Hire option and 1,200 for a Perfect Hire option, conflicting with the 200-diamond figure elsewhere. |
| Best default treatment | Use it when you want a Senior Hire and have no reason to hold the token. | Preserve it until you have checked the current shop, event timing and competing uses. |
The prices and drop percentages in the table are historical community or third-party reports, not a current official economy schedule. Always use the offer and probability disclosure displayed in your own Battle Night version as the final authority.

What Senior Hire Coins are used for
One coin funds a Senior Hire pull
Senior Hire is a recruitment tier separate from Basic Hire and Perfect Hire. Spending a Senior Hire Coin performs the Senior Hire attempt at Club B. The coin is not described as a general shop balance, upgrade material or substitute for a Perfect Hire token. Its narrow purpose is also its advantage: once you have the coin, you do not need to decide whether the currency should be diverted to another category.
Where community guides say coins can come from
A 2020 community guide says Senior Hire and Perfect Hire coins may appear through the Store, Hyperspace, events and map trades. Those are reported acquisition routes, not a guarantee that every route is active on every server or in every version. Event inventories and map-trade options can rotate, so check the live game rather than assuming an older route still exists.

The reported 48-hour free pull
The same community guide reports one free Senior Hire pull every 48 hours. This is a guide-reported rule from 2020, not a current official timer confirmed here. If your Club B screen shows a countdown, treat that in-game timer as authoritative. A free attempt changes the value of a coin: when a free pull is available soon, spending diamonds to buy another Senior Hire attempt has a higher opportunity cost than it would during a long wait.
A coin is not automatically worth a fixed number of diamonds
One guide lists a shop price of 200 diamonds for a Senior Hire coin. Another third-party offer guide gives 250 diamonds for a Senior Hire option. The discrepancy means you should not record “one coin equals 200 diamonds” as a permanent exchange rate. The amount can depend on the shop offer, event, server or game version. Use the exact price currently shown before deciding whether a purchase is worthwhile.
What diamonds do in Battle Night
Diamonds can be converted into recruitment
Diamonds are the premium currency used to obtain recruitment resources and other shop items. A diamond can therefore become a Senior Hire attempt when the shop offers that exchange. Guides also describe a separate Perfect Hire path, generally represented by its own token or purchase. Diamonds do not make Senior and Perfect Hire the same system; they are simply one way to acquire access to either option when the relevant offer is available.

A Senior Hire Coin is already committed to Senior Hire. Diamonds remain available for a later shop deal, event purchase or another item your roster needs. That flexibility is the principal reason to avoid treating every diamond as an automatic recruitment pull. The correct comparison is not “coin versus diamond” in isolation; it is “this recruitment attempt versus the best other purchase available before I can earn or receive more diamonds.”
Why published diamond prices conflict
Sources report different examples: a 2020 guide says a Senior Hire coin costs 200 diamonds, while a separate third-party offer guide lists 250 diamonds for Senior Hire and 1,200 diamonds for Perfect Hire. These figures may describe different offers, dates or versions. They should be read as examples of how diamonds can buy recruitment options, not as a guaranteed live price list. If an offer includes multiple pulls, bonus items or an event discount, compare the complete package rather than copying a single historical number.
How the three recruitment tiers fit together
| Tier | Currency or access described in the guides | What the evidence supports |
|---|---|---|
| Basic Hire | Separate recruitment tier. | It exists as a tier distinct from Senior and Perfect Hire; the supplied material does not establish its current cost or odds. |
| Senior Hire | Senior Hire Coins, a free timer-based pull reported by a 2020 guide, or a diamond shop purchase when offered. | One coin performs one Senior Hire attempt at Club B. |
| Perfect Hire | Perfect Hire Coins or a diamond purchase when the relevant offer is available. | It is a separate token-based path, not an upgraded use of a Senior Hire Coin. |
This distinction prevents a common mistake: saving Senior Hire Coins does not create Perfect Hire eligibility. If your goal is Perfect Hire, preserve the specific Perfect Hire resource or the diamonds required for its current offer.

Reported recruitment outcomes and how to read them
A 2020 r/BattleNight community guide reports the following result distribution:
| Recruitment | Green | Blue | Purple |
|---|---|---|---|
| Senior Hire | 58.5% | 40.0% | 1.5% |
| Perfect Hire | Not reported | 90% | 10% |
A separate guide reproduces the same percentages. They are community-reported figures from 2020, not a current official probability table located for this article. Do not assume that a present-day server uses those exact odds. Before spending a scarce coin or a large diamond amount, open the recruitment screen and read any probability disclosure for your edition and server.
What the percentages do and do not tell you
- They describe the reported chance of each quality color, not a guarantee that a pull will contain a particular hero.
- A 1.5% purple result for Senior Hire would be a per-attempt probability in the cited guide, not a promise that one purple appears within a fixed number of pulls.
- The reported Perfect Hire figures show a different quality distribution from Senior Hire, but they do not by themselves establish whether the higher tier is worth your diamonds.
- If the in-game disclosure differs from these historical figures, use the current in-game disclosure.
Should you spend diamonds on Senior Hire?
Spend when all of these conditions line up
- The current shop price is visible and you have checked whether it is a normal, discounted or event offer.
- You want an immediate Senior Hire attempt rather than a Perfect Hire resource or another shop item.
- No free Senior Hire pull is available now, or waiting 48 hours would materially delay a time-sensitive objective.
- You have enough diamonds left for an upcoming event or a purchase your account considers higher priority.
- The current probability disclosure is acceptable to you, including the possibility of receiving a lower-quality result.
Save diamonds when flexibility matters more
- The Senior Hire offer is priced above the amount you expected from older guides and there is no compensating bonus.
- A free Senior Hire timer is nearly complete.
- You are specifically pursuing Perfect Hire and have not secured the relevant Perfect Hire token or offer.
- An event, shop reset or limited deal is approaching and its schedule is known to you.
- You still need diamonds for several possible uses and cannot identify a clear advantage for this single pull.
Use a Senior Hire Coin sooner than diamonds when you already own one
If your objective is simply one Senior Hire attempt, the coin is the less flexible resource. Spending it first preserves diamonds for uses that only diamonds can cover. The exception is strategic timing: if an event rewards holding or spending a particular resource, or if a guaranteed exchange is about to expire, follow the event’s documented rules rather than applying a blanket “always spend coins first” rule.

A practical spending workflow
- Identify the target tier. Decide whether you want Basic Hire, Senior Hire or Perfect Hire. Do not enter the shop before making this distinction; the currencies are not interchangeable in function.
- Open Club B and check the Senior Hire state. Confirm whether a free attempt is ready and note any timer. The 48-hour interval is a historical community report, so rely on the timer displayed in your game.
- Inspect the live Store offer. Record the diamond amount, number of attempts, included bonuses, expiration and any event condition. Do not use 200, 250 or 1,200 diamonds as a substitute for the current listing.
- Check the probability disclosure. Compare the displayed quality chances with your tolerance for an ordinary result. Historical community percentages are useful context only.
- List the competing use for your diamonds. Include any Perfect Hire offer, event exchange or essential shop item you are actively saving for. If you cannot name a competing use, that does not make the pull guaranteed value; it simply means the opportunity cost is lower.
- Choose the least flexible resource first. If you own a Senior Hire Coin and want Senior Hire now, use the coin before converting diamonds, unless a live event gives a documented reason to do otherwise.
- Confirm the final prompt. Verify that the purchase is for the intended tier and amount. A Perfect Hire purchase and a Senior Hire purchase are separate paths.
- Recheck your balance and inventory. Make sure the coin was consumed only after the recruitment completed and that a diamond purchase granted the advertised recruitment resource.
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
Mistake: treating a Senior Hire Coin as premium currency
A coin is not a general-purpose substitute for diamonds. Its documented function is a Senior Hire pull. Keep diamonds available for purchases that cannot be made with the coin.
Mistake: assuming an old price is permanent
The 200-diamond and 250-diamond examples conflict. Version, event and shop rotation can explain the difference, but the available evidence does not establish one universal rate. Read the live listing every time.

Mistake: confusing Perfect Hire resources with Senior Hire Coins
Perfect Hire is a separate recruitment path. Holding Senior Hire Coins does not build a Perfect Hire balance, and a Perfect Hire objective may require a specific token or diamond offer.
Mistake: treating community odds as current guarantees
The 58.5%/40.0%/1.5% Senior Hire split and 90%/10% Perfect Hire split come from 2020 community material. They may not match your current server. Use the in-game disclosure where one is provided.
Mistake: buying an unrelated gift card expecting recruitment currency
There is no verified physical product that directly represents Senior Hire Coins or Battle Night diamonds. A generic gaming gift card should not be presented as if it were one of these currencies. Only an officially supported, clearly labeled top-up or in-game purchase can establish what balance you will receive.

How to make the decision for your account
Use this short rule set after checking the live shop:
- Need one Senior Hire now and own a coin: spend the coin, unless a documented event condition changes the value.
- Need one Senior Hire now but have no coin: compare the current diamond offer with the value of waiting for the free timer or saving for another target.
- Want Perfect Hire: preserve diamonds or Perfect Hire resources for that separate path; do not assume Senior Hire spending advances it.
- Unsure because prices or odds differ from a guide: trust the current in-game price and probability panel over historical community figures.
- No urgent target: keep diamonds unspent and use free or already-earned recruitment opportunities first.
This approach recognizes the currencies’ unequal flexibility. A Senior Hire Coin answers one question—“Do I want a Senior Hire pull?”—while diamonds require a broader budget decision about recruitment, events and shop inventory.
Bottom line
Senior Hire Coins are purpose-built recruitment tokens used for Senior Hire at Club B. Diamonds are the flexible premium currency that can buy Senior Hire or Perfect Hire options when offered and can also pay for other shop items. Use an owned Senior Hire Coin for a Senior Hire goal when timing allows, and keep diamonds until you have checked the live price, current odds, free-pull timer and competing event or shop uses. Historical reports of 200 or 250 diamonds for Senior Hire and the 2020 quality percentages are reference points, not guarantees for the version you play.
