To earn the guide-reported Truce trophy or achievement in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, choose to seek peace before agreeing to join the pasture fight. Ask Bailiff Thrush to intervene, read the chronicle in Troskowitz Rathaus, find the border nail in the disputed pasture, then return and encourage the villagers to reconcile. Leave the nail in the middle tree for the Truce outcome, according to PowerPyx’s walkthrough.
Before you start: finish Frogs and Mice
The quest becomes available after completing either Frogs or Mice. Speak with Old Olbram in Zhelejov or Innkeeper Prochek in Tachov to begin. The villagers’ annual confrontation is about pasture rights between the two settlements. Gameranx warns that pushing too far into this quest can lock out an unfinished Frogs or Mice side quest, so complete both first if you want to preserve that related content.
Guide sequences and dialogue prompts may vary with conversation state or game version; the cited walkthroughs do not specify the patch or platform they checked.
How to get the Truce trophy or achievement
- Choose peace before the fight. When speaking to Olbram or Prochek, say you would rather make up before agreeing to go to the pasture for the confrontation. Agreeing to fight is the alternative route, not the route the guides associate with Truce. See PowerPyx’s walkthrough and Gameranx’s quest guide.
- Ask Bailiff Thrush in Troskowitz for help. Gameranx describes “Von Bergow would reward you” as a way to persuade him, and mentions a Speech check. The exact prompt is guide-reported and may depend on your conversation state; if you do not see it, continue through the available options that ask Thrush to intervene or investigate.
- Read the chronicle. Go to the Rathaus in Troskowitz and investigate the written account there. The guides identify this as part of the peaceful investigation.
- Search the disputed pasture for the border nail. Find the nail in a tree. PowerPyx says to leave it in the middle tree for the Truce outcome; moving it to another tree favors one of the villages. The guides do not establish the nail as proof of the underlying legal truth about the boundary.
- Report your discovery to Thrush. Return to the bailiff and tell him about the nail. The walkthroughs say Thrush can interrupt the confrontation.
- Encourage reconciliation and finish the quest. When Thrush stops the dispute, encourage the villagers to make up. Then speak with Thrush or the person who gave you the quest to complete it.
PowerPyx and Neoseeker associate this peaceful outcome with the Truce trophy or achievement and the Master of Studies I book reward: Neoseeker’s guide.
