Yes. Battlefield 6 supports cross-play between PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and EA says it is on by default. Console matchmaking prioritizes console players, but EA warns that a long wait can override the preference to avoid PC players. You can switch cross-play off on Xbox or PlayStation in Settings > System > Setup.
Which platforms can play Battlefield 6 together?

Is cross-play on by default?
Yes. EA Help states, “Cross-play is turned on by default when you start playing Battlefield 6.” Console matchmaking prioritizes other console players and brings in PC players when there are not enough console players to fill a match. That is a priority, not a permanent console-only restriction: EA’s FAQ says an extended wait may override the preference to disable PC cross-play. How do you turn off cross-play in Battlefield 6?
The setting can be viewed and changed on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. EA says that with cross-play off, you can play only with people using the same platform.

- Open Battlefield 6 and select the cog icon to enter Settings.
- Select System.
- Under Setup, toggle Cross-play off.
You cannot change the setting while in a party, on a server, or after matchmaking has started. Leave the party or server, or return to the menu before changing it. Because EA says extended matchmaking waits may override the console-only preference, turning cross-play off should not be treated as a guarantee that a match will never include PC players.
How do you add and invite cross-platform friends?
Add the other player as an EA friend through EA Connect, then invite them from the Party tab. EA says adding a platform friend as an EA friend lets you keep playing together when they use a different platform.

- Open Battlefield 6 and press R2 on PlayStation, RT on Xbox, or TAB on PC to open EA Connect.
- Scroll to Player search and enter your friend’s EA ID or platform ID.
- Select Done, choose the right player, and select Add friend.
- Have your friend accept the request under Friend requests. After they accept, they appear in the Friends tab.
- Open the Party tab to invite them.
