EA confirmed the release date on July 31, then announced US launch prices and Phantom’s digital extras in October. The date was right; the leak’s euro prices and EA’s later US prices refer to different regions and should not be treated as interchangeable.
What the Battlefield 6 leak reported—and what EA confirmed
GamesRadar reported on July 24, 2025, that leaker billbil-kun, via Dealabs, had identified an October 10 release date, European prices, and a higher-priced Phantom Edition. At that point, those details were pre-reveal reporting, not an EA announcement. GamesRadar’s report is useful for what the leak said; EA’s announcements establish what was officially confirmed.
On July 31, EA confirmed that Battlefield 6 would launch October 10, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game later became available on those platforms. EA’s multiplayer reveal confirmed the date and platforms, resolving the leak’s central claim.
How the reported prices compare with EA’s US launch prices
The euro figures below were attributed to the pre-reveal report; the dollar figures are from EA’s October 2025 US launch announcement. They are not currency conversions, and the euro amounts should not be presented as universal or current prices.

| Standard, PC | €69.99, reported by billbil-kun via Dealabs and covered by GamesRadar on July 24, 2025 | $69.99 |
| Phantom | Reported as €30 more than Standard; the report did not establish its contents | $99.99 |
EA described the dollar amounts as US launch prices and cautioned that offers may vary or change, directing buyers to retailer details. They are historical launch figures, not a guarantee of today’s price. EA’s October 2025 launch announcement is the source for the US prices and its offer caveat.
What the Phantom Edition included
The early report described Phantom as a digital deluxe edition rather than a collector’s edition, but did not have its contents. EA’s launch announcement later specified a full game download plus digital extras: Phantom Squad soldier skins, two weapon packages, a vehicle skin, a combat knife skin, and a Battlefield Pro token. EA’s current purchase page describes the Phantom contents as a Battlefield Pro Token, Phantom Pack, Weapon Packages, and more, and says a single-use code must be redeemed for Phantom Edition content.
