The Battlefield 6 multiplayer reveal already happened: EA streamed it on July 31, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. PDT / 2:30 p.m. EDT. Battlefield 6 then launched on October 10, 2025, so this is now a replay guide, not an upcoming-event alert. EA’s recap links to the official video and summarizes the showcase.
Where to watch the Battlefield 6 reveal replay
EA announced YouTube and Twitch as the live-stream platforms and said the broadcast would be available through its news hub for at least 12 months. That was a minimum availability period, not a promise of permanent access. Start with EA’s multiplayer reveal recap, which includes a “Watch Now” link to the official YouTube video. Video availability can vary by region or platform.
The official presentation is distinct from the creator gameplay streams that followed it, the standalone multiplayer trailer, and later beta or launch footage. If you want the context and feature rundown, use the recap; if you only want a quick look at gameplay, the linked video is the shorter route.
When was the reveal, and when did Battlefield 6 release?
The developer-led global multiplayer showcase took place Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. PDT / 2:30 p.m. EDT. It followed the first full Battlefield 6 reveal trailer, published July 24, 2025. EA’s announcement of the event lists the date, time, and livestream destinations.

Battlefield 6 launched October 10, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, the EA app, and the Epic Games Store, according to EA’s reveal recap. The announcement lists no PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch version.
What multiplayer features did EA reveal?
Movement and gunplay
EA introduced the Kinesthetic Combat System as a package of movement and gunplay changes. Announced actions included Drag and Revive, which lets a player pull a teammate out of danger before reviving them, and mounting weapons on walls to reduce recoil. EA also described added mobility and movement options. These are the publisher’s feature descriptions, not independent judgments about how the game feels in play.
Classes
The traditional four-class structure returned: Assault, Recon, Support, and Engineer. EA said each class has class-specific gadgets, signature weapons, and dedicated training.
Destruction
EA presented enhanced destruction as a tactical part of multiplayer: players can create routes, open flanks, and change combat zones. The announcement does not say every building or environmental object can be destroyed, so destruction should not be read as universal.

Portal
Battlefield Portal returned with expanded tools for creating Community Experiences and customizing content. EA also announced plans for post-launch additions including modes, maps, weapons, and other features; those were forward-looking plans, not a guarantee of a particular release schedule.
Which modes and maps were shown?
The showcase covered returning staples, familiar smaller-match options, and a new objective mode. EA’s recap lists the following:
| Mode | What to expect from the announcement |
|---|---|
| Conquest | Returning large-scale Battlefield mode. |
| Breakthrough | Returning objective-focused mode. |
| Rush | Returning mode. |
| Team Deathmatch | Additional multiplayer mode. |
| Squad Deathmatch | Additional multiplayer mode. |
| Domination | Additional multiplayer mode. |
| King of the Hill | Additional multiplayer mode. |
| Escalation | New mode centered on capturing strategic control points. |
EA highlighted maps set in locations including Egypt, Gibraltar, and New York. Escalation was announced as an addition, not a replacement for Conquest, Breakthrough, or Rush.
What else was in the presentation?
Although multiplayer was the focus, the reveal also included a preview of the single-player campaign. EA’s recap describes the campaign as set in 2027 and featuring Pax Armata. The presentation also connected the broader Battlefield 6 reveal to the game’s planned open beta.

How the 2025 open beta worked
The beta is over; these dates are useful only as context for the reveal and are not a current way to try the game. EA’s open beta announcement gave this schedule:
- Early access: August 7, 2025.
- Open Beta Weekend 1: August 9–10, 2025.
- Open Beta Weekend 2: August 14–17, 2025.
The beta was available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games Store, and the EA app. Players who had not signed up for Battlefield Labs could watch select creators on Twitch during the July 31 reveal streams for a chance to unlock early access. EA also listed Secure Boot as a PC open-beta requirement; that was a beta requirement, not a statement of current retail-game requirements.
Where to buy Battlefield 6 now
EA lists the game for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Its official purchase page offers platform and edition selection, and links to storefront options including PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Store pages may redirect or show different availability based on your country.
Prices and edition availability vary by region and can change; check your local storefront rather than relying on prices quoted elsewhere. EA’s purchase terms state that PC play requires an EA Account and persistent internet access. PlayStation’s listing says PS Plus is required for online multiplayer; check the local Xbox listing for its applicable online-play terms. Watching the reveal does not require buying the game or subscribing to a console online service.
