Players reported queues of tens of thousands during the Battlefield 6 open beta in August 2025, but those figures came from individual forum posts—not an official count. The beta has ended, and the evidence available does not establish its peak queue, wait times, cause, or geographic reach.
What players reported about the Battlefield 6 beta queue
In a contemporaneous Whirlpool forum discussion, individual users described large login queues. One said there were about 127,900 people ahead; another reported 87,000. Those are personal observations in a forum thread, not EA telemetry or a verified count of everyone waiting.
EA did not publish an official peak queue figure in the available announcements. The reports also do not establish how long anyone waited, whether the queue was the same across regions or platforms, or what caused it. A large reported number alone cannot answer those questions.
When the open beta ran—and when it ended
EA scheduled early access to begin August 7, 2025, followed by public beta weekends on August 9–10 and August 14–17. EA’s detailed schedule listed the end times as August 11 and August 18 at 08:00 UTC, respectively. The beta was a limited-time event and is no longer available. See EA’s beta schedule.

What the beta’s queue does—and doesn’t—say about launch
A beta queue is evidence that some participants encountered congestion at that time; it is not a measure of the full game’s launch-day capacity or a forecast of future wait times. EA’s post-beta recap reported 420 million matches and 92 million hours played in 2025. Those figures describe beta participation, not the number of people who queued. The figures appeared in an infographic on EA’s Spanish-language post-beta recap.
EA also said the beta’s daily playlist rotation was specific to the beta and was not planned for launch. That addresses one beta feature, not the queue’s technical cause or the performance of launch servers. Read EA’s August 13 beta update.
