When did the Battlefield 6 Open Beta preload start?
EA announced that players could preload the beta starting August 4, 2025, at 15:00 UTC (8:00 a.m. PT). The download was available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store, or the EA app. This was a date-specific window in 2025, not an active preload period. EA’s July 31, 2025 announcement set out the timing and platforms.
When could players access the beta?
The beta had an early-access period followed by two public weekends. All times below are UTC, and the event is over.

How did players prepare to play?
Link an EA Account
EA instructed players to link their EA Account to the account for the platform they planned to use. For the Battlefield Labs early-access route, eligible players logged in with the EA Account they had registered before July 31, 2025.
Meet the PC security requirement
On PC, EA required Secure Boot to play the Open Beta and linked players to EA Help’s Secure Boot guidance. This requirement applied to the beta; consult current EA support information for requirements related to the full game.

What could players earn during the beta?

No. The announced preload and both public beta weekends took place in August 2025 and have ended. EA’s FAQ says the full game released on October 10, 2025, and lists PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC storefronts for download. That is the full game, not the former beta client. Check EA’s Battlefield 6 FAQ for current full-game information.
