Battlefield 6 launched globally on October 10, 2025, at 15:00 UTC. That was 11:00 AM EDT on the US East Coast and 4:00 PM BST in London; in parts of Asia-Pacific, the local date was already October 11. The schedule is historical, not a countdown to an upcoming release. EA’s official schedule did not confirm an exact preload start time.

EA’s launch-day queue notice gave the global moment as 15:00 UTC on October 10 and said it anticipated many players logging in at once, so it was adding a queue system for the initial peak. That describes launch-day conditions, not current server status. Read EA’s queue update.
When could players preload Battlefield 6?
The exact original preload date and start time—and whether timing varied by platform—are not established by the official material cited here. EA’s launch schedule and queue notice give launch timing, not preload timing. EA’s PC preparation page covers launch preparation and requirements but does not confirm a preload window. Avoid treating an unofficial countdown or secondary-site report as an EA-confirmed preload time.

Did the release time differ by platform?
The official schedule gives a global launch moment rather than separate unlock times for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. EA’s purchase page lists PC storefronts (EA app, Steam, and Epic Games), PlayStation, and Xbox. Platform availability and product details can change; see EA’s Battlefield 6 purchase page. EA’s listed purchase terms say the game requires a persistent internet connection and an EA account.
