Battlefield 6 Season 1 release time by time zone
EA announced one global unlock time: 15:00 UTC on October 28, 2025. The local times below are conversions of that instant, using each location’s time-zone offset on that date—not separate regional release schedules from EA.

Europe had returned to standard time by October 28, while most of the United States was still observing daylight time. For another location, add its UTC offset for that date to 15:00 UTC; the local calendar date may differ.
Season 1 content unlocked later than the update
EA scheduled Battlefield 6 update 1.1.1.0 to go live at 09:00 UTC on October 28. Season 1 content and progression unlocked six hours later, at 15:00 UTC. EA said players who had updated could continue playing normally during the gap, but the new season’s content and progression were not yet available. EA’s Update 1.1.1.0 notice sets out both times.

What launched with the season
The October 28 launch phase, called Rogue Operations, included three weapons, a new map, a vehicle, a multiplayer mode, attachments, and more, according to EA’s Season 1 roadmap preview. The roadmap also listed follow-up phases for November 18 and December 9, 2025. EA later confirmed that free-to-play Battlefield REDSEC launched alongside Season 1 in its October 28 launch announcement.
Was the release date the same worldwide?
The scheduled unlock was one global instant, but the local date depended on time zone. It was October 28 across the United States and Europe examples above; in Japan, the same moment fell just after midnight on October 29. The announcement covered platforms and stated the unlock time in UTC.

Is the Battlefield 6 Season 1 release still upcoming?
No. The Season 1 launch took place on October 28, 2025, so its release time is historical rather than a future schedule.
