If a Battlefield 6 Support assignment is not counting progress, there is no verified universal fix. First confirm the assignment is unlocked and active, then follow its current in-game requirement exactly. If valid actions still do not register, update the game and report the issue to EA with the assignment wording, platform, and action you performed.
Check the assignment before troubleshooting
- Confirm it is unlocked and active. Open Assignments and select the Support assignment you intend to complete. EA community manager EA_Vendcera noted in an October 2025 Steam discussion that some challenge wording or unlock conditions could differ from players’ assumptions. That was a historical response, not a current status update. Read the discussion.
- Follow the current in-game wording. Use the required class or equipment and perform the specific action named by the active assignment. Older player posts described a teammate-healing task as “Heal teammates for 5000 health,” but that is a historical report—not confirmation of the current requirement or a proven workaround. - Check again after the match. Players have reported inconsistent progress, but available reports do not establish whether a particular case is caused by delayed display, wording, or a tracking defect.
- Install available game updates. EA’s Game Update 1.2.1.0 notes describe fixes to an assignment tracker issue and tracking for several weekly and assignment-based challenges. They do not specifically say that the Support teammate-healing assignment was fixed. Read EA’s update notes.
What EA has said about progression tracking
In October 2025, EA community manager EA_Vendcera said, “There are currently some progression issues the team is aware and working on fixing.” The comment appeared in a Steam discussion quoting EA’s Known Issues 1.0.1.0 article. It confirms that EA acknowledged broader progression issues at that time; it does not establish the current status of this specific Support assignment.
Later patch notes document fixes to some assignment and challenge tracking problems, but do not name the Support teammate-healing task as resolved. So neither the historical acknowledgement nor the later general fixes prove what is happening in an individual player’s current match.
If progress still does not register
Report the issue through EA’s current support or bug-report channels. Include the exact assignment text shown in your game, your platform, the game version if visible, and the action you took. These details make it easier to distinguish a requirement mismatch from a reproducible tracking issue. The sources available do not promise an account-level correction.

Generic troubleshooting advice such as rejoining a match or party, changing loadouts, verifying PC files, or resetting controls and cache is not established as a fix for this specific Support assignment. Try such steps only as general checks, not as confirmed remedies. No verified cause links this issue to role selection, crossplay, or cache behavior.
