EA calls the vehicle the Turfpro PTV Royale and describes it as a way to move a squad into or out of combat—not as a weapon. “Death by golf cart” is a funny headline premise, not a verified kill statistic.
What is the Eastwood map in Battlefield 6?
Eastwood is a suburban Southern California setting built around luxury pools and private golf courses. EA describes it as having a bespoke layout and combat zones tailored for multiplayer. The setting puts familiar residential spaces beside a golf course, creating a battlefield where the Turfpro PTV Royale looks deliberately out of place among military vehicles. EA’s California Resistance Mid-Season Roadmap introduces the map and its vehicle.
Can you drive a golf cart in Battlefield 6?
Yes. The Turfpro PTV Royale is a four-person transporter intended to carry a squad into or out of combat. EA’s roadmap calls it “The deadliest vehicle on the fairway” and describes it as a way to move any squad into or out of combat. That line is playful official copy; EA does not publish a golf-cart kill count or say how often it causes player deaths.
Is the Eastwood golf cart armed?
No. EA says the cart has no onboard military-grade weapons, so passengers must provide its defense. That makes it a transport option, not a substitute for an armed vehicle.

Which vehicles appear alongside it?
EA’s Game Update 1.1.2.0 notes specifically list tanks, helicopters, and the Golf Cart in Conquest on Eastwood. The same update says the cart is available for use in Portal experience building. Those notes establish the lineup for Conquest; they do not establish that the same vehicles appear in every mode. Read the EA Forums update notes.
Where did the golf cart come from?
The Turfpro PTV Royale is a fictional in-game vehicle introduced as part of Eastwood’s golf-course setting. Its four-person capacity gives a squad a way to cross the map together, while its lack of onboard weapons leaves it exposed if passengers cannot defend it.

When did Eastwood come out?
Eastwood launched on November 18, 2025, in the California Resistance update. It is established live content, not a newly released map in 2026. EA’s March 13, 2026 Game Update 1.2.2.0 notes later documented AI pathfinding improvements on Eastwood and fixes affecting the map among other maps. Those notes do not establish the live map rotation or the game’s complete current balance; check the in-game playlist for what is available now.

EA lists Battlefield 6 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Eastwood is included in the game rather than sold as a separate map. EA’s launch announcement lists the platforms.
