What is the Eastwood map in Battlefield 6?
Eastwood brings combat to a suburban landscape of villas, swimming pools and private golf courses. EA describes it as an entirely new map with a bespoke layout, and says its combat zones are tailored to different multiplayer experiences. That means Eastwood is adapted across modes rather than limited to one fixed match format. EA’s official Battlefield map description introduces the setting as an idyllic Southern California neighborhood turned battleground.
Is Eastwood actually Hollywood-inspired?
The Hollywood framing evokes Southern California, but EA’s map description and Season 1 materials reviewed here do not identify a film, studio, landmark or filming location as the map’s inspiration. The confirmed description is an affluent Southern California suburb; a more specific Hollywood connection is not established by those materials.
When did Eastwood come out?
EA added Eastwood during the California Resistance phase of Season 1. The original Season 1 roadmap placed that phase on November 18, but that was planned timing in the roadmap-era announcement, not a future release date. The map is released game content. EA’s Season 1 brief describes the phase and the map’s villa setting.

Which modes and vehicles are available on Eastwood?
EA’s update 1.1.2.0 notes say Eastwood has variations for all official modes. They specifically list tanks, helicopters and the Golf Cart in Conquest. The vehicle list is tied to Conquest in those notes; it should not be read as a complete vehicle roster for every mode. The update notes provide the mode and vehicle details.
The Golf Cart and squad transport
EA also described the Turfpro PTV Royale as a four-person golf cart capable of carrying a squad, alongside conventional combat vehicles on Eastwood. Its role is a transport option, not a replacement for the map’s military vehicles. EA’s roadmap description gives the cart’s capacity.

Sabotage was a limited-time mode
Eastwood was also associated with Sabotage, an 8v8 limited-time mode in which teams attack or defend cargo across map zones over two rounds. EA’s announcement said the mode would run on Eastwood and Blackwell Fields during its limited-time run. That historical announcement does not establish whether Sabotage is currently in rotation, so check the in-game mode list for present availability. EA’s mode announcement outlines the format.

EA presents Eastwood as Battlefield 6 game content and said gameplay-impacting seasonal features would be free or earnable. The sources reviewed do not describe a separate Eastwood purchase. Battlefield 6 launched on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam, the EA app and Epic Games Store. EA’s launch announcement listed prices of $69.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Phantom Edition in the United States at launch; those are historical launch prices, not current pricing.
