The Battlefield 6 free-to-play trial that began November 25 was a one-week promotion in 2025, and it has ended. EA’s trial ran from November 25, 2025, at 4 a.m. PT (12 p.m. UTC) through December 2, 2025, at 4 a.m. PT (12 p.m. UTC). It was accessed through the free-to-play Battlefield: REDSEC experience, not as a currently available offer.
When did the Battlefield 6 free trial run?
EA’s dated trial guide set the start for November 25, 2025, at 4 a.m. PT (12 p.m. UTC), and the end for December 2, 2025, at the same time. The offer was part of Season 1 and is no longer available. EA’s November 24, 2025 guide and its November 25 announcement describe that historical window.
How did players access the trial?
During the promotion, players downloaded the free-to-play Battlefield: REDSEC experience on their preferred platform. REDSEC and all Battlefield 6 game updates were required, along with an internet connection and an EA account. Platform-specific account or subscription requirements could also apply. The roadmap said the trial could be played once per EA account. EA’s California Resistance roadmap describes the access requirements.
What could players play?
EA described three playlists across three maps. The guide identifies Siege of Cairo for Initiation Breakthrough and also names Eastwood and Blackwell Fields among the newer maps. The roadmap lists Conquest, Breakthrough, Sabotage and Team Deathmatch among the modes available during the trial. These were trial multiplayer offerings; EA described the single-player campaign as part of the full game upgrade, not the limited trial.

Which platforms were supported?
EA listed PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam, the EA app and Epic Games Store for the 2025 offer. Those platforms describe that specific promotion, not the availability of a later trial.

Phantom added a BF Pro Token, Phantom Squad skins, weapon packages and a Deluxe XP Boost. These are historical prices, not current quotes; EA noted that offers may vary or change. Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is there another Battlefield 6 free trial now?
EA’s current buy-page search result has separately referenced an August 18–25, 2026 trial, and the page surfaces a Season 4 limited-time-trial disclaimer. Those references do not establish the terms of a later offer or whether one is active now. They should not be confused with the November 2025 Season 1 trial, and they do not support assuming a November 2026 promotion.
