What did the Battlefield Pro datamine reportedly contain?
On April 5, 2025, Insider Gaming reported that MP1st had found references to Battlefield Pro in Battlefield Labs files. The report attributed a proposed package of benefits to unnamed dataminers: a Battle Pass, six exclusive instant cosmetic unlocks, a 10% Battle Pass XP boost, persistent Portal server hosting, 20 tier skips, an exclusive bonus path, and BF Pro challenges. Those challenges were reportedly to include access to previous-season challenges and a Pro Radio Station. Insider Gaming’s report did not identify the dataminers or provide a link to the underlying files, so these details should be treated as claims about a leak, not confirmed product terms.
What did EA later confirm about Battlefield Pro?
Season 1 offer
In its October 28, 2025 Season 1 announcement, EA presented Battlefield Pro as a Battle Pass offer. EA listed full access to premium tiers, Pro-only items, 25 tier skips, a 15% Battle Pass progression boost, an additional BF Pro vehicle radio station, and more. EA gave the offer a $24.99 USD MSRP or regional equivalent. The announcement also said that free Battle Pass tiers included functional content such as weapons and did not require a purchase. Season 4 offer
EA’s current Season 4 store listing describes a season-specific package that includes the full Season 4 Battle Pass, 25 tier skips, a +5% XP Booster, an exclusive vehicle radio station, special assignments, extra challenge rerolls, Portal hosting for up to 100 players, and an exclusive bonus path and challenges, alongside instant cosmetics and other unlocks. Is Battlefield Pro a subscription?
Calling the April 2025 report a subscription was part of the leak coverage, not proof of a recurring billing arrangement. EA’s Season 1 and Season 4 materials describe Battlefield Pro in relation to a particular season’s Battle Pass. Based on those descriptions, it is more precise to call it a season-specific Battle Pass upgrade than to say it is an automatically renewing monthly subscription. The official material cited here does not specify automatic recurring billing.

Can you get Battlefield Pro with the Phantom Edition?

EA later confirmed a Battlefield Pro seasonal offer, but that does not retroactively verify every feature attributed to the earlier leak.
