Battlestate Games extended Escape from Tarkov’s Flea Market lock by five days, setting the announced end time for January 14, 2025, at 3 PM GMT / 10 AM EST. The developer said it was responding to community feedback while working on technical fixes and balancing changes. This was a temporary January 2025 rule, not a current lockdown.
When was the Tarkov Flea Market supposed to unlock?
Battlestate Games announced that the lock would continue until January 14, 2025, at 3 PM GMT / 10 AM EST. The extension added five days to the restriction, according to the developer’s official announcement.
Why did Battlestate Games extend the lock?
The developer said it was actively monitoring community feedback about the Flea Market being locked. It also thanked players for sharing feedback and reporting issues, and said technical fixes and balancing changes were in progress. The announcement did not identify an individual speaker or provide further details about the specific fixes.
Was the Flea Market still locked after January 2025?
No. A later official update said listing restrictions had been removed and described access for players at level 10, initially with the ability to list up to five items. That later update establishes a change from the January lockdown; it should not be taken as a complete account of every subsequent rule or mode-specific detail.
