What is in the Beat Saber Metallica pack?
The pack is downloadable Beat Saber content featuring 17 Metallica tracks. Beat Games described it as the game’s first full music pack dedicated to metal. Its announcement said the tracks offer more than 1 hour and 41 minutes of combined playtime; that is the publisher’s stated duration, not an independently measured runtime. What are Beat Saber’s new gameplay features?
Variable Note Jump Speed
Variable Note Jump Speed changes how quickly individual cubes approach the player according to the intensity of the song. Beat Games said it planned to use the feature in future beatmaps as well. In the launch announcement, Beat Games Product Marketing Lead Michaela Dvorak described it as a new gameplay feature. Read the announcement.
Cube color override
Cube color override lets players change cube colors. Beat Games said the option could help players who prefer particular colors or are colorblind; the announcement does not claim a specific medical or accessibility outcome.

Environment, notes and multiplayer
The pack adds a Metallica-inspired environment with lighting effects. Beat Games said nearly every component can be moved and rotated to create custom light shows. The announcement also mentions Arc and Chain notes and challenging levels in multiplayer. Beat Games’ release announcement describes these elements.
