Beautiful Light, a tactical first-person extraction shooter from Deep Worlds SA, is planned to enter Steam Early Access in December 2026. That is the current schedule shown on its Steam listing—not confirmation that the game has launched or a guarantee that the date will hold.
What is Beautiful Light?
Beautiful Light is described on its Steam store page as a PvPvPvE tactical first-person extraction shooter. Players enter a hostile area to search for a mysterious artifact or complete quests, then attempt to extract. Other operators and dangerous anomalies can threaten the run, and mistakes may cost players their gear.
The extra “Pv” in the game’s PvPvPvE label reflects its unusual role choice: players can enter as operators or take control of an anomaly. It is not presented simply as operators fighting each other and computer-controlled enemies.
When is Beautiful Light coming out?
Steam currently lists Beautiful Light as “Coming Soon To Early Access,” with December 2026 as its planned release month. The listing does not establish a specific launch day. Because the date is a plan, it may change; check the Steam page for the latest schedule.

What is planned for Early Access?
Deep Worlds SA says the planned Early Access build is intended to include the following:
- Two maps and one game mode
- One playable anomaly and four AI anomalies
- More than 20 weapons
- A progression skill tree and three traders
These are the developer’s stated plans for the Early Access build, not a verified final launch lineup. The store page also says the team is small and the project ambitious. It describes Early Access as a way to help fund development and gather player feedback; the developers write that it is “also a way for us to improve the game thanks to community feedback as we build the game we had envisioned.”

What to expect from its extraction-shooter premise
The listed setup combines the familiar risk of entering an area, pursuing objectives, and trying to escape with two kinds of opposition: rival operators and anomalies. The ability to play as an anomaly is the game’s clearest distinguishing premise in the current description. The available listing does not establish details such as squad size, match composition, or how the anomaly role works in practice, so those specifics should not be assumed from the genre label alone.
