Belkin’s Charging Case Pro for Nintendo Switch 2 adds a removable 10,000mAh power bank to a protective travel case. Its built-in LCD display shows the accessory’s remaining charge—not the Nintendo Switch 2’s own battery percentage.
Belkin announced the ENA003 at CES on January 4, 2026, with a U.S. list price of $99.99 and availability through Belkin.com in select markets. Belkin’s announcement says the battery can provide approximately 1.5 additional recharges for the console.
What Belkin announced at CES
The Charging Case Pro is designed to combine several travel accessories in one: protection for the Switch 2, game-card storage, a removable battery, and a stand for tabletop play. The power bank is housed in the case but can be removed and recharged separately.
Belkin’s U.S. product listing currently shows the ENA003 at $99.99 in multiple colors. Availability, stock, colors, and warranty terms can vary by country, so the U.S. price should not be treated as a universal regional price.

What does the screen show?
The display shows the remaining charge of the removable power bank. It can be checked at a glance even when the case is closed, according to Belkin’s support documentation.
It does not appear to be a second status screen for the Switch 2. In practical terms, the case’s display can tell you whether the accessory battery is nearly empty before you leave home, but you still need to check the console itself to see the Switch 2’s internal battery percentage.
Belkin’s earlier standard Gaming Charging Case for Switch 2, model ENA001, also advertises a removable 10,000mAh battery and LCD battery indicator. The CES announcement therefore introduces the Pro model, rather than being Belkin’s first Switch 2 case with a battery display.
How the charging system works
The removable battery supplies up to 30W of output, with the Switch 2 connected through the case’s charging setup and included USB-C cable. Belkin says the case is designed to charge the console while it is stored and to support tabletop-mode play while charging.
- The power bank sits in the case’s dedicated compartment.
- It connects to the Switch 2 through the case’s charging arrangement.
- The bank can be removed when you want to use or recharge it separately.
- It can be recharged externally without taking the console out of the case.
- The integrated display reports the bank’s remaining charge.
“Up to 30W” is a maximum output figure, not a promise that the Switch 2 will continuously draw 30W. The console controls its charging behavior, and actual power use depends on the game, display brightness, wireless features, and whether the system is being used while charging. Belkin’s charging guide explains the power-button and port behavior.

How much extra battery life can you expect?
Nintendo rates the Switch 2 for approximately 2 to 6.5 hours per charge, depending on the software and features in use. Nintendo also says a full charge takes approximately three hours when the console is powered off or asleep, and longer while it is being used.
Belkin describes the 10,000mAh power bank as providing approximately 1.5 additional recharges. That should be read as an approximate capacity claim, not a guaranteed number of full 0-to-100 percent charges or a fixed number of extra playing hours.
Power banks are rated by the capacity of their internal battery cells. Some energy is lost when that power is converted and delivered over USB-C. Results also vary with battery age, game workload, screen brightness, heat, and whether the Switch 2 is charging while you play. A console that lasts two to three hours in a demanding game will not necessarily gain the same absolute number of hours as one running a less demanding title.
For the same reason, claims that the case creates a fixed “16-hour Switch 2” setup would be misleading. A longer session is plausible, but the outcome depends on how the console is being used.
Features beyond the battery
Removable power bank
The removable design is more flexible than a permanently sealed battery case. You can leave the battery out when using the case only for storage, recharge it without opening the case, or use its USB charging functionality with another compatible device. Charging speed and compatibility will depend on the device, cable, and power requirements.
Tabletop stand
The hinged battery arrangement can function as a stand, allowing tabletop play while the console charges. That is a meaningful advantage over carrying a power bank loose in a bag, although the case will be bulkier than a basic protective shell.
Storage and tracking
A dedicated flap stores game cards, while the concealed tracker compartment provides a place for an AirTag or Tile device. These details reinforce the product’s main selling point: integration rather than maximum battery capacity.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What it does not replace
The Charging Case Pro should not be treated as a replacement for the official Switch 2 dock or AC adapter. Nintendo’s charging guidance distinguishes ordinary console charging from the power requirements associated with TV mode. A USB-C battery that can output up to 30W does not automatically provide the same functionality as Nintendo’s official dock setup.

The case is intended for portable charging and tabletop use. Do not assume it supports TV mode merely because it can charge the console. Nintendo’s charging guidance is the relevant reference for dock and TV-mode expectations.
Charging while playing can also produce more heat than charging an idle console. Follow Belkin’s instructions, keep ports and vents unobstructed, and avoid treating a closed travel case as a heat-insulated gaming enclosure during demanding games. Belkin’s materials establish the intended charging use, but they do not provide independent thermal-performance testing.
Charging Case Pro vs. the earlier standard case
| Feature | Charging Case Pro | Standard Charging Case |
|---|---|---|
| Model | ENA003 | ENA001 |
| Battery | Removable 10,000mAh power bank | Removable 10,000mAh power bank |
| Battery display | Yes; shows power-bank charge | Yes; advertises an LCD battery indicator |
| Key design emphasis | Hinged, integrated arrangement with external battery recharging | Earlier standard design |
The Pro model makes the integrated, hinged arrangement and external recharging more prominent. If the standard ENA001 is still available in your region at a materially lower price, it may be worth comparing the two listings rather than assuming the Pro is the first battery-equipped Belkin case.

Is the $99.99 price worth it?
The Pro makes the most sense for players who regularly travel with a Switch 2 and want one fitted solution for protection, charging, game storage, tracking, and tabletop play. Its battery indicator also answers a common travel annoyance: whether the accessory itself has enough charge left.
Its value is less compelling if you already own a good Switch 2 case and a USB-C PD power bank. A separate battery can be more flexible, and a higher-capacity standalone option such as Belkin’s 20,000mAh Gaming Power Bank offers roughly twice the nominal capacity, though it does not provide fitted protection, game-card storage, or an integrated stand.
Choose the Charging Case Pro if convenience and organization matter more than the lowest cost or highest capacity. Consider a separate power bank if you charge several devices, want a smaller case-and-battery choice, or already have the protection you need. Either way, buy it with the correct expectation: the visible display tracks the accessory battery, not the Switch 2’s own percentage.
