The weapons and modules should follow that choice, and the build pages cited here are recommendations—not official Nexon rankings or guarantees of performance.

Alcast’s guide, published August 27, 2026, explicitly treats Ajax as either support/debuffer or DPS. The TFD Hub example was created July 25 and last updated September 24, 2026. These are distinct templates, not evidence that one setup wins in every encounter.

Support/debuffer build: prioritize team utility
Alcast describes this variant as lowering enemy resistances and buffing allies’ Skill Critical Hit Rate. For its weapon recommendation, the guide names Divine Punishment and says its unique ability increases DEF. A second copy is presented as an optional convenience for swapping around Tactical Master, not a requirement.
Ajax’s kit also explains why defensive investment and timing matter. Orbit Barrier is a front-facing shield whose durability scales with HP and DEF; its enhanced version reflects damage with DEF scaling. Void Walk is a leap and impact that stuns nearby enemies, while Expulsion knocks enemies back at close range. Use these abilities according to the situation—barrier to protect the front, and the leap or knockback when enemies need to be interrupted or displaced.

Weapon-oriented build: choose guns for the job
For mobbing, Alcast lists ATR-0 Prototype as a stat stick and Restored Relic for guided cluster rockets. For single-target damage, it lists The Last Dagger or Perforator. These are role-specific options in the guide, rather than a universal weapon ranking:
- ATR-0 Prototype: listed as a stat stick.
- Restored Relic: listed for guided cluster rockets and the mobbing setup.
- The Last Dagger or Perforator: listed as single-target options.
- Divine Punishment: the guide’s choice for the support/debuffer setup, with its DEF-increasing unique ability.
If you want one gunner template for both mobbing and bossing, the CHRAMOX build on TFD Hub is a current community example. Its Trigger module is Supply Fortress. The page’s September 24, 2026 update replaced Bio Expansion with Maximize Range, MP Conversion with Time Distribution, and Skill Extension with Maximize Duration. Treat those swaps as that creator’s template, not as a universal prescription.

Understand Ajax’s balance changes before copying older advice
Nexon’s Update 1.3.12 says Ajax’s skill MP cost was reduced by approximately 30%, while existing skill damage—including damage from Modification Modules—was reduced by approximately 30%. Nexon also says damage can increase up to 2.6 times depending on DEF. The damage figure is conditional on DEF; it should not be read as a flat multiplier for every Ajax build or skill.
The same official notes say Orbit Barrier’s Arche type changed from Dimension to Tech and its Reflection Damage calculation changed, with reflection values and DEF-dependent scaling described in the patch. Because skill values can change, check the current in-game tooltip or a newer official patch note before relying on a specific reflection number.

Set up and adjust the build in-game
Nexon’s official game guidance on Modules is the appropriate starting point for how modules work. The build references do not establish that every listed weapon or module is unlocked for every player, so use the following as a selection process rather than a promise of a ready-made loadout:

- Choose the role first. Pick team utility, weapon-based mobbing, or the all-in-one gunner template based on the content you intend to play.
- Use the matching weapon recommendations. Start from Divine Punishment for the support guide, or select from the mobbing and single-target options for a gunner setup.
- Match modules to the chosen template. Do not combine module changes from different builds blindly; in particular, Supply Fortress and the September 2026 swaps belong to the cited TFD Hub community example.
- Check the live descriptions and test adjustments in your own loadout. Recheck skill tooltips after balance updates, especially when a build depends on DEF scaling or reflection damage.
How to decide which build to use
- Choose the support/debuffer variant if your goal is group utility and the resistance and Skill Critical Hit Rate effects described by Alcast.
- Choose the weapon-oriented variant if you want sustained gun and rocket use for mobbing, with a separate single-target weapon option.
- Use the TFD Hub all-in-one gunner build as a starting template if you want one community example aimed at both mobbing and bossing, while recognizing it reflects one player’s choices.
