For the best Battlefield 6 Open Beta graphic settings, choose adjustments for your goal: lower selected quality options to prioritize FPS, or reduce visual clutter and tune field of view for visibility. There was no single best preset for every PC. The recommendations below use EA’s current, post-beta PC graphics guide as a reference; they are starting points, not proof that every listed option or value appeared in every beta build.
Best Battlefield 6 beta settings for FPS
EA’s current PC guide says that turning down graphics settings helps a PC maintain FPS. It recommends trying these options on Low first:
- Undergrowth Quality
- Effects Quality
- Volumetric Quality
- Lighting Quality
- Local Light & Shadow Quality
- Sun Shadow Quality
- Post Process Quality
If those changes do not provide enough FPS, EA suggests trying everything on Low. The guide does not promise a particular frame-rate gain, and the results will vary by PC and game build. Change a few options at a time and evaluate performance on your own system rather than assuming a preset is universally best. EA’s current PC and controller settings guide is post-beta guidance, not a record of the exact beta menu.
How do I get more FPS in the Battlefield 6 beta?
- Lower the seven listed visual-quality settings and check whether performance improves in the scenes where you noticed slowdowns.
- If FPS is still inadequate, try Low across the board, then restore settings that matter most to you one at a time.
- For display setup, EA recommends turning V-Sync Off and matching the game’s fullscreen resolution and refresh rate to your PC’s settings. This does not guarantee a specific FPS or remove all input latency.
Battlefield 6 beta settings for visibility
To reduce visual clutter, EA suggests reducing World Motion Blur, Weapon Motion Blur, and Camera Shake Amount, and turning Chromatic Aberration, Vignette, and Film Grain off. These are clarity and preference suggestions, not verified universal performance boosts.

Screen Space Reflections
EA notes that some players find enemies easier to spot in buildings or through water with Screen Space Reflections Off. Treat that as a situational visibility option: whether it helps depends on the scene and your preference, and EA does not claim a universal advantage.
Field of view
A higher FOV shows more of the surroundings but makes distant enemies and objects look smaller. EA’s current guide suggests 110 as a starting point and Wide for Weapon FOV, then recommends testing in the Firing Range. Neither value is a measured optimum for every player. Display size, personal preference, and how easily you spot distant targets all affect the choice. See EA’s FOV guidance.

What the Open Beta hardware baseline does—and does not—tell you
For the 2025 Open Beta, EA listed NVIDIA RTX 2060, AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT, or Intel Arc A380, each with 6 GB of video memory, as minimum GPU examples. These were beta compatibility requirements; they do not indicate that any one card is required for a particular settings goal or that upgrading will fix an individual performance problem. EA’s Open Beta announcement also said Secure Boot was required to play.
The beta’s early-access dates were August 7–8, 2025; public weekends were August 9–10 and August 14–17. Those dates are historical, not an indication that the beta remains available.

- Smooth motion: 240Hz refresh rate and fast 0.5ms response time provide crisp visuals and fluid movement with less input lag.
- Seamless gaming: FreeSync Premium and HDMI VRR eliminate tearing for smooth, responsive PC and console gameplay.
- Fast IPS: Faster 0.5ms response with excellent color accuracy across wide IPS viewing angles.
- Rich color: 99% sRGB color coverage delivers vivid, detailed imagery with strong accuracy.
- Eye comfort: TÜV Rheinland 3‑star certified display lowers blue light while preserving color quality.
Keep beta observations separate from launch-era guidance
Later EA PC specifications listed targets of 1080p at 30 FPS on Low for minimum specifications, and either 1440p at 60 FPS on High or 1080p above 80 FPS on Low for recommended specifications. These are launch-era targets, not measured Open Beta results. EA says its specifications are not comprehensive and recommends GPU-vendor optimization software or in-game tuning for an individual PC. EA’s PC system requirements provide that later context.
There is also a dated beta-specific caveat: ComputerBase’s graphics-card report on August 8, 2025, found that DLSS Frame Generation did not work correctly on its test system at the time. That observation applies to that test system and beta build; it does not establish how the feature worked for every player or in later versions. EA’s later PC features overview lists ultrawide and super ultrawide display support, plus technologies for upscaling, frame generation, antialiasing, and latency reduction. Later feature support should not be assumed to have behaved identically across beta weekends.
