For August 2026, the best Blue Lock: Rivals Styles are led by the S+ group: NEL Shidou, Loki, NEL Rin, Kaiser, Don Lorenzo, Sae, NEL Nagi, NEL Isagi, Shidou, King, and Ness. Use the full table below as a current recommendation snapshot—not an official balance chart—and check availability before spending spins.

Best Styles right now: NEL Shidou, Loki, NEL Rin, Kaiser, Don Lorenzo, Sae, NEL Nagi, NEL Isagi, Shidou, King, and Ness are among the standout S+ choices in the current ranking snapshot. But the best Style to chase is not always the highest-ranked one: some S+ entries are limited or vaulted, patches can change the meta, and a Style that is already in your inventory is usually more valuable than a costly reroll for a marginal theoretical upgrade.

Blue Lock: Rivals Styles tier list (August 2026)

This is a dated, source-attributed meta snapshot based on Pocket Gamer’s tier list updated August 6, 2026. It is not official developer balance data or controlled gameplay testing. Blue Lock: Rivals updates can add, rework, or rebalance Styles, so check the live roster and banner after a patch.

Tier Styles What it means
S+ NEL Shidou; Demon Shidou (Limited); Reaper Sae (Limited); Bunny Iglesias (reported vaulted); Charles; NEL Nagi; Loki; NEL Rin; Kaiser; Don Lorenzo; Shidou; Sae; Yukimiya; Rin; King; Kunigami; NEL Isagi; Ness; NEL Chigiri The leading group in this snapshot. Do not assume every entry is currently obtainable or equally suited to every role.
S Firework Bachira; Lavinho; Aiku; Nagi; Hiori Excellent alternatives, particularly if you already own one or can obtain it more realistically than an S+ option.
A Raichi; Karasu; Igaguri; Kurona; Reo; Gagamaru; Bachira Strong preference-led choices. Use the kit you execute well rather than treating A as a reason to reroll immediately.
B Isagi Lower in this particular editorial ranking, not automatically unusable.
C Chigiri The lowest-ranked Style in this snapshot; future updates may change that assessment.

Which Style should you use?

If you already own an S+ Style

Keep it unless you actively dislike its play pattern. The research does not support casually rerolling one S+ Style for another: this tier groups top choices together and does not establish a reliable internal order among Kaiser, Don Lorenzo, NEL Isagi, Shidou, Yukimiya, Rin, Kunigami, Ness, NEL Chigiri, and the rest of the S+ field.

If you want a top-end target

Loki is one of the most discussed high-end picks. Community reference material characterizes it as a speed-oriented all-rounder and lists exceptionally low regular and Lucky Spin odds. That makes Loki powerful in conversation, but not an automatic recommendation to spend until you get it.

NEL Rin, NEL Nagi, King, and Sae are also repeatedly identified by the community as particularly strong or useful. Treat that as community sentiment rather than a developer-issued power ranking.

If you want a strong, practical alternative

Start with the S tier: Firework Bachira, Lavinho, Aiku, Nagi, and Hiori. They are not “failed” pulls because they sit below S+; they remain high-ranking choices and may be the sensible answer when the S+ Style you want is unavailable, limited, or too expensive to chase.

The A tier—Raichi, Karasu, Igaguri, Kurona, Reo, Gagamaru, and Bachira—is the better place to make a playstyle-driven choice. This ranking does not provide enough patch-current evidence to declare a verified best role for each, so prioritize the Style whose movement, shots, support tools, and timing fit how you actually play.

Rank #2

Availability matters as much as tier

Before spending spins or Robux, separate a Style’s strength from whether you can still get it.

  • Demon Shidou and Reaper Sae are Limited variants. Community descriptions portray Demon Shidou as offense-focused and Reaper Sae as more all-rounding and passing-oriented, but those are community-authored descriptions rather than official kit documentation.
  • Bunny Iglesias is S+ in the August 6 editorial list, while community roster information identifies Bunny as vaulted. Do not plan a new-player spin strategy around it without checking the current game roster.
  • NEL Shidou is a freshness check. The July/August 2026 editorial listing says it was added and puts it in S+, while a separately captured community roster excerpt does not visibly include it. That may be a source-update timing gap, but it should not be presented as a confirmed explanation. Verify the live in-game name and availability.

Do rarities decide what is best?

No. Styles are the game’s ability system and regular Styles are commonly organized into Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, World Class, and Master rarities. Rarity provides acquisition and collection context; it does not guarantee that a Style will be the best choice in every match, for every player, or after every balance update.

Master rarity is especially easy to overvalue. Loki’s scarcity can make it a compelling collector target, but the available research does not establish a cost-effective current spin strategy, nor does rarity turn a difficult-to-use Style into the best option for every player.

A sensible reroll and spending rule

  1. Check the live banner first. Confirm that the Style is actually obtainable before planning spins.
  2. Keep top inventory value. If you have an S+ Style, do not reroll solely because another S+ name is popular.
  3. Use S and A as real destinations. A strong obtainable Style is usually more useful than an unavailable limited or vaulted name.
  4. Set a stop point before spending. The research supports no guaranteed or efficient way to chase ultra-rare Styles.
  5. Reassess after patches. A dated tier list is guidance, not a permanent verdict.

What this ranking does—and does not—tell you

The table is useful for narrowing choices, especially when deciding whether a pull is worth keeping. It does not prove that every S+ Style will outperform every S-tier Style in your hands. Execution, team composition, role, patch changes, and access all affect the practical result.

Likewise, lower placement does not mean a Style is worthless. Isagi is B and Chigiri is C in this August 6 snapshot, but that is a relative editorial assessment, not a claim that either cannot contribute to a win. If you enjoy and consistently execute a Style, do not discard it on tier label alone.

When to refresh this tier list

Recheck the game after any Style release, rework, balance announcement, or banner rotation. At minimum, this snapshot should be refreshed by August 17, 2026. The two immediate checks are whether NEL Shidou is live under that exact name and whether Bunny Iglesias is obtainable again.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does S+ mean in this Blue Lock: Rivals tier list?

S+ is the highest group in this August 6, 2026 editorial snapshot. It does not mean every S+ Style is obtainable, equally easy to use, or automatically best for every player.

Should I reroll an S+ Style for Loki, Kaiser, or NEL Rin?

Usually no. The available ranking does not support a precise order within S+, so an owned S+ Style is generally worth keeping unless its kit does not fit your playstyle.

Is Loki worth chasing?

Loki is a high-end community favorite and is described as a speed-oriented all-rounder, but community reference material reports extremely low spin odds. Chase it only if you accept the cost and it is currently available.

Does a higher rarity always mean a better Style?

No. Regular rarity tiers describe acquisition and collection context, not a guaranteed competitive result. Limited and vaulted Styles can also be impractical targets for new players.

Quick Recap

Which top Styles may not be obtainable?

Check the live roster and banner in-game before spending. Bunny Iglesias is reported vaulted in community roster material, while NEL Shidou needs a live availability check because sources captured at different times do not fully align.

The Bottom Line

Bottom line: Keep a good S+ Style, treat S-tier options as genuinely strong, and never spend on the assumption that rarity or a tier label guarantees the best match result. Check the live banner before chasing limited, vaulted, or newly added Styles.
