Its sale pages included Switch and Switch 2 listings, but the available catalog count covers Nintendo products broadly—not a verified number of Switch console and game deals. Prices and stock can change, so check Best Buy’s live listings before buying.
What Best Buy’s sale pages showed
Best Buy’s on-sale Nintendo page displayed 282 Nintendo category results when captured in October 2026. That broad total included Switch and Switch 2 platform filters; it does not mean 282 Switch deals. Best Buy’s Techtober video-game deal page also listed discounted Nintendo titles for both Switch 2 and Switch. The listings, prices, and stock are dynamic; check the retailer’s page for the current offer: Best Buy Techtober video-game deals.
Switch 2 bundle prices reported in early October
Two deal reports described a Switch 2 and Mario Kart World bundle at Best Buy, but their prices differed. They are dated snapshots, and the available details do not establish that the bundles had identical configurations.

These are the prices and savings reported in those articles, not confirmed live prices. Compare the exact items included and the current product-page total before deciding whether a bundle is a better value. The reports are available from Tom’s Guide and ZDNET.
How to check a Switch deal before buying
- Confirm the console and bundle contents. Check whether the listing is for Switch or Switch 2 and note exactly which game or other items are included. Similar bundle names do not guarantee the same configuration.
- Compare the total, not just the discount label. If a game is included, compare the bundle price with the current prices of those items separately. The reported $37 and $28 savings above refer to their respective article snapshots.
- Check game compatibility. Verify that the game is for the console you own or plan to buy; Switch and Switch 2 listings are both present in Best Buy’s catalog.
- Check format and stock. Confirm whether a game is physical or digital and whether the listing is available for your location before checkout.
- Recheck the price at purchase. Sale pricing and inventory can change, and the October reports do not establish that each offer remained active on October 7.
What Prime Big Deal Days means for these offers
Amazon called its October 2026 event Prime Big Deal Days, scheduled for October 6–7, a 48-hour event with Prime-member deals across more than 35 categories. That timing provides context for the Best Buy listings; it does not show that Best Buy’s promotions were exclusive to the event or matched Amazon’s prices. See Amazon’s event announcement.
