There is no source-backed camera mode that is best for every Brawlhalla player. Choose based on the view you track most comfortably: Action for a closer view, Classic or Default for the traditional moving camera, Fixed for a stationary view of the whole map, and Close for tight framing.
How the Brawlhalla camera modes differ

Which camera mode should you try?
- If the usual view feels too wide, try Action.
- If camera movement distracts you and you want the whole stage in view, try Fixed.
- If you want the traditional dynamic camera, choose Classic or Default.
- If you deliberately want a tightly framed view, try Close.

How to change the camera mode
The official Brawlhalla Patch 7.13 announcement says PC players can change the mode from the pause menu during a match: “The camera mode (e.g. close camera, action camera, etc) can now be changed in the pause menu mid-match on PC!” Official Patch 7.13 announcement That instruction is specific to PC; check your own settings on other platforms rather than assuming the same menu path.

A settings reference lists Default as the PC default and Close as the mobile and console default. It also says Default is absent on some consoles, while Nintendo Switch has a separate Handheld Camera setting. These details may vary with platform or game version, so confirm which modes your game currently offers. Settings reference
