For a nonstop prerecorded radio playlist on YouTube without keeping a computer running, StreamNeo is the first service to try: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and let it loop from the cloud. It supports uploaded quality up to 4K at 60 fps for one flat price per slot, with a free first day and no card required. YouTube’s verified encoder directory also specifically identifies Gyre for 24/7 streaming of prerecorded video, making it a relevant alternative to compare.
What a cloud service does for a YouTube radio stream
A nonstop prerecorded stream needs a live encoder feed to YouTube; leaving an ordinary YouTube playlist open is not the same workflow. YouTube explains, “An encoder converts your video into a digital format to stream on YouTube.” A cloud playlist service provides that feed from uploaded media, so your own computer does not need to stay on. First-time live streaming may take up to 24 hours to become available on a YouTube channel. YouTube’s encoder guidance
YouTube’s verified-encoder directory cautions that the listed products are not made by YouTube and advises creators to evaluate them for their needs. Its directory identifies Gyre for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming and AWS Elemental MediaLive for broadcast-grade video processing. YouTube’s verified encoder directory
Cloud services to consider
- StreamNeo — best first choice for a straightforward YouTube loop. It keeps uploaded recordings or playlists live from the cloud, with any uploaded quality up to 4K 60 fps at one flat price per slot; the first day is free with no card. YouTube only. See StreamNeo.
- Gyre — the closest match independently identified in YouTube’s directory. YouTube describes it for 24/7 streaming of prerecorded videos and says it does not require a camera or dedicated PC. Check Gyre’s current plan, session limits, and pricing directly before choosing; the reviewed evidence does not establish those terms. YouTube’s verified encoder directory.
- OneStream Live — managed scheduling, subject to plan and duration limits. Its help article describes uploading media or using cloud storage, and says the YouTube-only 24/7 feature requires Enterprise and is limited to 30 days per stream. These are publisher-stated terms, so confirm the current plan and limit before subscribing. OneStream Live’s 24/7 streaming guide.
- Livepush — playlist looping with stated restart and update features. Livepush says it supports looping, automated session restarts, and playlist changes during a live session; its page says 24/7 looping is available on Creators or above. These are vendor claims, not independently measured reliability results. Livepush.
- Tencent Cloud StreamLive — configurable HLS pipeline. Tencent documents sending an HLS live stream to YouTube, but its output setup requires attention to the number of outputs, track layout, compatible audio and video codecs, and segment settings. Choose it when you need video-processing configuration and can operate a pipeline, rather than expecting a simple upload-and-loop workflow. Tencent StreamLive documentation.
- AWS Elemental MediaLive — broadcast-grade processing, not established here as a turnkey playlist loop. YouTube’s directory lists MediaLive as a broadcast-grade processing service, but the reviewed listing does not establish that it directly supplies a simple prerecorded playlist loop. YouTube’s verified encoder directory.
How to choose the right option
- Match the workflow. Confirm that the service loops uploaded prerecorded media directly to YouTube. A cloud video-processing platform may instead expect configured inputs and outputs.
- Verify plan eligibility and stream duration. Continuous streaming may be restricted to a higher plan or capped per session. OneStream’s stated Enterprise requirement and 30-day cap, and Livepush’s stated Creators-or-above requirement, are examples; confirm current terms on the service’s own page.
- Check playlist controls. If you expect to swap tracks while live, verify that the specific service supports playlist changes during an active stream. Livepush states that it does; do not assume other services do.
- Account for operational work. A managed playlist service is designed to avoid running a local encoder. A configurable infrastructure service offers a different level of control but requires technical setup and ongoing operation.
- Compare actual total cost and availability. Current comparable official prices, regional availability, and independently measured uptime were not established for the options above. Check the terms for your country and plan rather than treating vendor reliability claims as tested results.
Copyright and channel-policy checks
Before scheduling a music or radio loop, make sure you have the rights needed to stream every recording, composition, and other included material on YouTube. A live encoder does not grant music rights, and permission to use a track in one context may not include permission to rebroadcast it continuously. YouTube’s encoder guidance covers the streaming workflow, not a blanket copyright clearance; review YouTube’s policies and the rights attached to your recordings before going live. - Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Also make the channel and stream useful as an original offering rather than relying on a loop alone. Check YouTube’s current monetization and reused-content policies if you plan to monetize; a stream being technically live does not guarantee monetization eligibility. Rights and monetization review are separate checks.
