StreamNeo is the first option to consider: it loops uploaded videos from the cloud, supports the files as uploaded up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and gives each account one free day without a card. Other relevant options include Gyre and Upstream, which YouTube lists in its encoder directory, Cloud-OBS, a hosted OBS setup, and Google Cloud Live Stream API for teams prepared to configure and estimate a cloud-encoding workload.
These services differ in how they handle playlists, authorization, storage, recovery, and billing. Vendor claims and listed prices can change; none of the services below was independently tested for this comparison.
Best services for a continuous YouTube game-replay stream
- StreamNeo — best first option for a straightforward always-on replay loop. Upload videos, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live; StreamNeo loops the uploaded files from the cloud, so your computer can be off. It supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, with a free first day and automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. See StreamNeo.
- Gyre — worth checking if you want a service specifically described for continuous prerecorded video. YouTube’s encoder directory describes Gyre as a cloud-based 24/7 service for prerecorded videos, with Full HD and 4K at 30/60 FPS and a built-in converter. Those are directory and vendor descriptions, not independent performance findings.
- Upstream — a possible fit if you want a browser-based cloud studio. YouTube describes it as a cloud studio for 24/7 live video streaming and YouTube integration. Confirm that its current plan supports the number of streams and the prerecorded-replay workflow you need.
- Cloud-OBS — a hosted OBS machine with playlist controls. Its service page describes a dedicated cloud OBS slot, an ordered playlist, browser controls to pause, resume, or skip, remote desktop access, one configured destination, 1080p/30 FPS setup, and 180 GB of video storage.
- Google Cloud Live Stream API — for configurable, usage-billed encoding. It can suit a technical operation that needs control over encoding configuration, but its cost depends on active channel time, resolution, codec, outputs, and distribution endpoints. It is not a simple fixed-fee creator plan.
YouTube’s encoder directory lists Gyre and Upstream, and says listed products are not made by YouTube. Directory inclusion establishes that YouTube lists them; it is not a YouTube endorsement or a reliability guarantee.

How YouTube readiness and stream management affect the choice
Before paying for a service, make sure the YouTube channel can go live. YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-stream restriction in the previous 90 days. Enabling live streaming for the first time may take up to 24 hours. YouTube says encoder streams can include gameplay, overlays, and external audio/video hardware. Its setup guidance also states a maximum of 10 active streams per channel and three active streams per stream key. Check the current YouTube live-stream setup guidance before configuring a broadcast.
For a replay channel, ask how the service handles the operational details that matter when no one is watching the encoder:

- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
- Input and authorization: Does it accept uploaded files or playlists, and does it use a manually entered stream key, account authorization, or both?
- Continuity: What happens if YouTube disconnects the feed, a file fails, or the service loses its own connection? Confirm recovery behavior rather than treating phrases such as “stable” as an uptime guarantee.
- Playlist and archive control: Can you reorder or skip files, and does the service rotate or archive broadcasts the way you intend?
- Limits and quality: Check resolution/frame-rate limits, file requirements, included storage, upload limits, and whether the service converts files.
- Full-month cost: Compare the price for continuous operation, plus any extra output, distribution, storage, or regional charges—not just the starting price.
LiveGoLive advertises uploaded playlists, continuous cloud encoding up to 4K60, and operation without an always-on PC. Its page describes Google authorization as beta or manual stream-key setup, and shows a waitlist, so availability and authorization options need checking. The vendor also says connected mode can rotate broadcasts while a persistent stream continues; its manual stream-key approach leaves broadcast and archive management to the operator. Confirm those details with the service before relying on them. See LiveGoLive’s YouTube page.
Costs: fixed creator plans versus configurable cloud infrastructure
Managed services
A fixed-fee service is easier to budget when the channel needs a continuous loop. StreamNeo charges by slot and billing period, with the same features on each plan. Cloud-OBS’s page displays a launch offer of €34.99/month for the first three months and €49.99/month afterward, and says the launch offer is limited to the first three activations. Because vendor prices and availability can change, verify the current listing before subscribing.

Google Cloud Live Stream API
Google bills for active channel time based on configured input/output resolutions and codec. Each active channel has a 10-minute minimum; time beyond that is rounded up to the nearest minute. Distribution streams are additional outputs, and endpoints also incur hourly fees. Prices vary by region and configuration, so use the Google Cloud pricing page to estimate your actual workload rather than assuming usage billing will cost less than a managed creator service.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Copyright, game footage, and YouTube policy
YouTube requires live content to comply with its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service and can restrict live-stream access. A game replay is not automatically clear for rebroadcast just because it is gameplay: check the publisher’s rules for streaming or monetizing footage, and confirm rights for music, licensed tracks, mods, overlays, voice chat, and any other included material. A cloud encoder does not grant those rights. YouTube’s setup and policy guidance is at Get started with live streaming.

- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.

Also consider whether a continuous stream made from recorded footage accurately represents what viewers are watching. Avoid presenting prerecorded gameplay as a live match or current event if that would mislead viewers. Review YouTube’s current platform rules and the rights attached to each source file before scheduling a long-running broadcast.
Troubleshooting a replay stream that will not stay live
- You cannot enable live streaming: Check channel verification and whether a live-stream restriction occurred in the previous 90 days. If this is the first enablement, YouTube says activation can take up to 24 hours.
- The service cannot connect to YouTube: Recheck that the stream key belongs to the intended YouTube stream and was entered correctly, or redo the service’s account-authorization flow if it uses authorization. Do not share a stream key; rotate it in YouTube if it may have been exposed.
- The stream stops after a YouTube disconnect: Confirm the service’s reconnect and automatic recovery behavior and inspect its status/control panel. Recovery claims differ by vendor; do not assume that every cloud encoder reconnects in the same way.
- A replay does not play or the playlist stalls: Check the file’s upload completion, supported format and limits, and playlist order. The listed sources do not establish a universal file specification, so use the chosen service’s current media requirements.
- The broadcast or archive rotation is wrong: Review whether the service uses a persistent stream, creates or rotates broadcasts, or leaves archive handling to you. LiveGoLive describes different behavior for connected and manual stream-key modes; confirm the selected mode before launch.
- The bill is higher than expected on an API workflow: Recalculate active channel duration, resolution/codec configuration, additional outputs, endpoint hours, and region. Google Cloud bills active channels with a 10-minute minimum and rounds subsequent time up to a minute.
Or let it run in the cloud
