For a one-evening finish, choose Venba, The Gardens Between, What Remains of Edith Finch on PS5, Donut County, The Artful Escape, Unpacking or TOEM. How to judge whether a Platinum is genuinely easy
“Easy” is not the same as “short.” PlatPrices’ 2026 definition describes an easy Platinum as a complete trophy list that most players can earn with relatively little skill, time or grinding. Its practical checks are more useful than a single difficulty number:

- No severe skill ceiling: trophies do not demand expert combat, precision platforming or repeated high-level attempts.
- A one-pass guide: a complete walkthrough can identify chapter actions and collectibles without forcing blind replay.
- No online or grind trophies: you are not dependent on a shrinking player population, matchmaking or dozens of repetitive hours.
Add your preferred genre and tolerance for cleanup. A two-hour puzzle game can be less suitable than a 12-hour action game if you dislike puzzles, while a technically simple open-world Platinum can become tiring because of map icons and side activities.

Best one-evening Platinums
Venba
Venba is the fastest story-led option on this list. Its cooking scenes and family narrative keep the controls simple, and the trophy list is short enough for a focused sitting. A few trophies depend on performing a particular action in the correct chapter, so follow a chapter checklist instead of assuming every interaction is optional. There is no combat, online requirement or extended cleanup.
The Gardens Between
This gentle environmental-puzzle game uses time manipulation rather than reflexes. The puzzles are readable, and missed objectives can be cleaned up without a demanding skill check. It suits players who want a calm Platinum and do not mind pausing to inspect each scene for the small number of interactions that matter.
What Remains of Edith Finch on PS5
The native PS5 release is the important detail: its trophy list includes a Platinum, while the original PS4 list does not. The game is a short narrative anthology with straightforward chapter objectives. If you own both editions, select the PS5 version before starting; buying a second copy does not automatically create a second Platinum when the lists differ.

Donut County
Donut County asks you to guide an expanding hole through compact stages. The controls are forgiving and the story can be completed quickly. A handful of trophies require interacting with specific objects during individual stages, so a missable-action checklist prevents an otherwise unnecessary replay. Its low mechanical demand makes it a strong choice for a first non-platforming Platinum.
Astro’s Playroom
Astro’s Playroom is the safest first Platinum for a new PS5 owner, as DamnModz put it in 2026. It is preinstalled, fully offline and designed to demonstrate the DualSense’s features while introducing the PS5 hardware. The main path is short; the remaining work is finding collectibles and repeating areas for special actions. Because stages remain accessible, a missed item normally means targeted cleanup rather than a new campaign.
The Artful Escape
This musical adventure is story-led and low pressure. Most trophies arrive naturally, but a few are tied to interactions in particular chapters. Keep a short list of those actions beside your save and you can finish without combat mastery, online play or a second full run.
Unpacking
Unpacking has no combat, timer or fail state. You arrange rooms across several moves, and the Platinum is mostly a matter of noticing unusual placements that trigger hidden trophies. A guide is valuable here because the clues can be easy to overlook; without one, backtracking through every room is the main source of extra time.

TOEM
TOEM combines photography objectives with optional quests in small, revisitable areas. The game does not punish experimentation, and locations remain available for cleanup. Plan to photograph the requested subjects and finish side quests as you encounter them; the remaining trophies are generally an organization task rather than a difficult execution test.
Short, forgiving games with a little more gameplay
Stray
Stray is approachable for most of its campaign, but its Platinum has two sharp requirements: a speedrun completed in about two hours and a chase sequence with no hits taken. Treat those as dedicated objectives rather than trying to improvise them during a first blind playthrough. The rest is offline exploration and collectible cleanup. If timed movement or memorizing routes is frustrating, one of the shorter narrative games is a better fit.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
Rift Apart delivers polished action without requiring a high difficulty setting. Most trophies come from story progress, weapon use and light exploration; the final cleanup is followed by a brief Challenge Mode run. The game is a good middle ground when you want a conventional 3D action title but do not want an open-world checklist or online tasks.

This is the lowest-rated difficulty option in the list at 1/10. Its trophies focus on collectibles and optional memories spread through a narrative campaign. The list requires a PSN connection, so it is not the right pick for a completely offline console. Use a chapter guide to collect memories as you go, because replaying scenes solely for one missed item is less efficient than planning the route.

RoboCop: Rogue City
RoboCop: Rogue City remains offline and moderately forgiving, but it asks for more active play than the narrative adventures. In addition to story progress, you must complete combat feats and side objectives. Read each mission’s optional tasks before leaving an area; doing so reduces the chance of repeating combat encounters later.
Astro Bot
Astro Bot is a larger platforming follow-up to Astro’s Playroom. The campaign is accessible, while the Platinum comes from completing challenge stages and collecting everything across the levels. Expect a few precision sections, but not the severe difficulty spike associated with elite challenge games. It is best for players who enjoy replaying stages to turn a nearly complete save into a finished one.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
The base campaign and activities are manageable on normal settings, but the Platinum requires a New Game Plus run. You can make that second playthrough efficient by carrying over upgrades and prioritizing the remaining trophies rather than replaying every activity at full completion. Choose it only if you are comfortable committing to two story runs.

Longer games that stay forgiving
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Spider-Man 2 has a low estimated difficulty because combat and traversal are accessible, yet the total time rises with district completion and side content. The Platinum is an open-world completion route: finish story missions, clear activities, collect map items and complete the optional threads. It has no online requirement, so the main decision is whether you enjoy systematic map cleanup.

Ghost of Tsushima
Ghost of Tsushima has no online trophies and no permanent missables, which makes its long route forgiving. You can return to unfinished activities after the story and change your plan without losing access to objectives. The trade-off is scale: camps, quests, collectibles and exploration spread across a large open world. Lower the difficulty if combat slows you down and use the map to batch nearby activities rather than criss-crossing the island.
God of War Ragnarök
Ragnarök is also offline and broadly accessible, but its optional endgame bosses are the main catch. The story and ordinary cleanup are manageable; the final encounters demand better timing and equipment than the rest of the list. Leave those fights for a prepared endgame loadout, and lower the difficulty if the Platinum matters more than challenge. The estimate covers a substantial campaign plus exploration, not a single evening.
PS4 and PS5 trophy-list checks before you buy
A game having separate PS4 and PS5 applications does not guarantee two Platinum trophies. Trophy lists are edition-specific, and some upgrades share a list or omit a Platinum entirely. What Remains of Edith Finch demonstrates the risk: the PS5 list has a Platinum, while the PS4 list does not.

- Open the exact PS4 or PS5 product page you intend to use.
- Open the full trophy list from that edition, not a generic game page.
- Confirm that a Platinum trophy appears and note whether the list is separate, shared or upgrade-based.
- Scan every trophy for missable chapter actions, online or PSN requirements, timed challenges and required second playthroughs.
- Check whether your save transfers and whether an upgrade changes the edition or trophy list before starting.
Do this check even for a game advertised as an easy Platinum. A short game with one missed chapter action can take longer than a larger title whose objectives remain available.
Can you get an easy Platinum through PlayStation Plus?
Possibly, but there is no universal catalogue answer. Check the current PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium catalogue and the Essential monthly games for your region before purchasing. The catalogue changes by month and country, and a game can leave the service while remaining in your trophy list only if you have already earned access through the applicable membership terms.
For games not included, use a price-history tracker, wishlist alerts and recurring sale periods such as Days of Play and Black Friday. Verify the live price and edition in your own store at checkout; regional pricing and availability differ across the 70-plus regions tracked by PlatPrices.
A practical route for your first Platinum
- Pick the right commitment: choose Astro’s Playroom or a one-evening narrative game if you want certainty, or select Rift Apart if you want more action.
- Read the trophy list first: mark chapter-specific actions, missables, online connections, speedruns and extra playthroughs.
- Play with a light checklist: collect guide-required items as you reach each chapter, but do not interrupt every minute for trophies that are naturally earned.
- Finish the story before broad cleanup: keep a save that preserves free exploration, then use chapter select or the open world for remaining objectives.
- Reserve special challenges: attempt Stray’s speedrun, Spider-Man: Miles Morales’ New Game Plus and Ragnarök’s endgame bosses as separate projects.
- Confirm the edition before syncing: especially when both PS4 and PS5 versions are installed.
Common reasons an “easy” Platinum becomes difficult
- Choosing by hours alone: a short game can contain one demanding speedrun or no-hit section.
- Ignoring chapter actions: Venba, Donut County, The Artful Escape and Unpacking all reward specific interactions or placements.
- Assuming every open-world trophy is missable: Ghost of Tsushima leaves objectives available, while its real cost is the amount of cleanup.
- Forgetting a second run: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales requires New Game Plus.
- Starting the wrong version: the PS4 and PS5 lists can differ, as Edith Finch shows.
- Expecting a fixed price or subscription listing: sales, PS Plus catalogues and regional editions change.
