The best Ranch Pal depends on what your base needs: Dumud Gild and Sibelyx Primo tie for the highest listed Farming suitability at level 4, but produce different resources. Dumud Gild produces High Quality Pal Oil, with a small chance of Gold Coins; Sibelyx Primo produces High Quality Cloth. For eggs, milk, or honey, choose the Pal that makes that specific item instead of ranking by level alone.
Here, “farming” means the Ranch job, which produces species-specific items. It is separate from crop-field work such as Planting, Watering, and Gathering.

Palworld Ranch farming tier list
These tiers are recommendations based on item usefulness, listed Farming suitability, progression, and competing jobs—not measured output rates. Palworld Hub’s guide, last updated August 13, 2026, lists 29 of 299 Pals with Farming suitability and a maximum base level of 4. Its two level-4 entries are Dumud Gild and Sibelyx Primo.
| Tier | Pal | Ranch output or role | Why choose it |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | Dumud Gild | High Quality Pal Oil; small chance of Gold Coins | Level 4 Farming in the Palworld Hub guide; choose it when these outputs are the goal. |
| S | Sibelyx Primo | High Quality Cloth | Level 4 Farming in the Palworld Hub guide; a specialist alternative to Dumud Gild. |
| A | Chikipi | Eggs | A practical choice when eggs are needed, including for cake ingredients. |
| A | Mozzarina | Milk | Focused Ranch role: PalBreed notes that it has no secondary suitability. |
| A | Beegarde | Honey | Useful for honey, though its several other jobs can draw it away from the Ranch. |
| Early-game utility | Melpaca | Ranch worker | Palworld Hub identifies it as an early-game level-2 Farming option. |
| Night coverage | Sootseer | Ranch worker | Palworld Hub lists it as nocturnal with level-2 Farming, making it an option for overnight coverage. |
The specific cake-focused Ranch producers named by PalworldCenter are Chikipi for Eggs, Mozzarina for Milk, and Beegarde for Honey. The broader Ranch-drop list in PCGamesN’s July 22, 2026 guide also includes Wool, Berries, Flame Organs, arrows, Pal Spheres, Gold Coins, and Cotton Candy; check current game data if you are choosing a Pal for a less common drop.

Choose a Ranch Pal by the resource you need
High Quality Pal Oil or Gold Coins
Use Dumud Gild when you want High Quality Pal Oil. PalBreed also reports a small Gold Coin chance from its Ranch output, so coins should be treated as a bonus rather than a guaranteed yield.
High Quality Cloth
Choose Sibelyx Primo for High Quality Cloth. The level-4 figure makes it a top suitability pick in the consulted Palworld 1.0 guide data, but it does not replace Dumud Gild if your base needs oil.
Rank #2

Eggs, milk, and honey
- Eggs: Chikipi.
- Milk: Mozzarina.
- Honey: Beegarde.
These are distinct outputs, so a higher Farming level on a different Pal does not meet the same need. Mozzarina’s lack of secondary suitability can keep it focused on the Ranch; Beegarde’s additional jobs are useful elsewhere but may compete for its attention.
Which Ranch Pals fit different stages and schedules?
Early base: take an available producer
Palworld Hub identifies Melpaca as an early-game level-2 Ranch choice, and PCGamesN includes Chikipi among the accessible egg sources in its guide. If your base needs a resource now, a reachable producer is more useful than waiting for an endgame specialist.
Rank #3
Night shift: consider Sootseer
Sootseer is described by Palworld Hub as nocturnal and has level-2 Farming. That makes it a coverage option for overnight Ranch work, not a match for the level-4 suitability ceiling.
Later progression: breed for Sibelyx Primo
Palworld Hub describes Sibelyx Primo as obtainable by breeding Lapure and Sibelyx, providing a route to the level-4 Pal without relying on the level-75 wild spawn noted in that guide. This makes breeding a progression option for bases pursuing High Quality Cloth.

How Farming level and base jobs affect Ranch output
Farming suitability level affects how quickly Ranch items arrive, according to PalBreed’s guide. It is a useful speed comparison, but the level alone does not tell you which item a Pal produces, whether it can stay assigned to the Ranch, or whether it is available at your point in progression.
Recommended Free Tools
PalBreed describes these suitability boosts:
- Ranch Master: adds 2 Farming suitability.
- Farmhand: adds 1 Farming suitability.
- Cinnamoth: provides another 1 suitability to the other Pals at the base.
According to that guide, a level-4 producer with Ranch Master and Farmhand reaches level 7 before other increases; Cinnamoth can add another point to other Pals at the base. These are guide-stated mechanics, not a timed yield benchmark.
A practical way to set up your Ranch
- Pick the output first. Decide whether the base needs eggs, milk, honey, cloth, oil, or another specific Ranch drop.
- Assign a Pal that produces it. Use the tier list as a shortlist, not as a claim that every S-tier Pal is interchangeable.
- Check availability. Use an early accessible producer when you need materials immediately; pursue later catches or breeding routes when the specialized output justifies it.
- Consider competing work. A Pal with several other suitabilities may be pulled toward other facilities, while a focused worker such as Mozzarina has fewer competing jobs.
- Improve suitability if worthwhile. Ranch Master, Farmhand, and Cinnamoth can change the suitability comparison described by PalBreed.
- Plan for operating hours. A nocturnal worker such as Sootseer can help cover night hours, though its listed level is below the top tier.
What “best” means for this tier list
Farming-Pal rankings vary because guides weigh different things: Palworld Hub and PalBreed emphasize suitability and item roles, while PCGamesN’s guide gives a broader overview of Ranch choices and drops. This list prioritizes the base’s desired output, then considers suitability, progression, job conflicts, and schedule. The cited guides do not establish timed yields, so a precise items-per-hour ranking would overstate what their data supports.
Ranch drops and suitability can change with game updates. The figures above reflect the cited Palworld 1.0 guide data and should not be read as a guarantee that every future version uses the same roster or values.
