- Large teams fighting over objectives rather than only small arena rounds.
- Combined-arms combat involving infantry and vehicles.

Operations changes the shape of the package
Xbox Wire reports that Delta Force launched on Xbox Series X|S on August 19, 2025 and combines Warfare with Operations. Operations is an extraction mode in which squads search for valuables and attempt to extract while facing rival players.

This makes Delta Force a broader proposition than a pure Conquest replacement:
- Warfare is the mode to start with if you want open, team-scale combat and vehicles.
- Operations is the mode to choose when you want squad risk, loot objectives and the possibility of losing a run while trying to extract.
- The two modes can appeal to different moods, but Operations also means progression and extraction decisions are part of the overall package rather than optional background flavor.
Calling that a trade-off is an editorial comparison based on the documented mode descriptions. It does not mean Operations is inferior; it means Delta Force is not narrowly designed around one Battlefield-style loop.

That distinction prevents a common misunderstanding: REDSEC is not simply a free trial of every Battlefield 6 multiplayer mode. It is a separate free experience with its own mode focus. If you want the Battlefield name, presentation and creator ecosystem, it is the obvious starting point. If you specifically want the full paid game’s complete multiplayer lineup, REDSEC is not documented as a substitute for that.

Battle Royale and Gauntlet are not Conquest by another name
REDSEC’s documented headline modes are Battle Royale and Gauntlet, alongside Portal experiences. That means its core free offering is organized around a different mode structure from a classic, always-available large-team conquest loop.
