There are no documented graphics or performance settings to adjust in Cities: Skylines – Nintendo Switch Edition. Nintendo’s listing confirms handheld, tabletop and TV play, but does not identify a graphics preset, resolution option, frame-rate control or performance difference between modes. Switching modes is therefore not a verified performance fix.

A 2018 Nintendo Life review reported that frame rates could fall into the low 20s when managing a larger urban hub: Nintendo Life’s launch-era review. Treat this as a historical reviewer observation—not a controlled benchmark or a guarantee of the frame rate in every city, Switch setup or current session.

Do not use Cities: Skylines II PC settings as a Switch guide
Paradox’s graphics optimization guide covers Cities: Skylines II, the sequel, rather than the original Nintendo Switch Edition. Its PC advice about resolution, depth of field and other graphics options does not document settings available in this Switch game: Paradox’s Cities: Skylines II graphics guide.
