The best Hatsune Miku game collaboration depends on what you want to do with her: race as Miku, collect themed cosmetics, or try a costume crossover. For a full Miku rhythm game rather than a guest appearance, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix is the clearest starting point. The examples below cover different kinds of collaborations; they are not an exhaustive catalog or an objective ranking.
How to choose a Miku game collaboration
Start with the content itself. A playable character changes how you play; a costume or cosmetic changes your avatar’s look; a themed module adds Miku-related content within a Miku game. Also check whether the appearance is part of a particular mode and whether it is currently obtainable. Official announcements can confirm that a collaboration happened without guaranteeing that its items remain available.
| Game or content | What Miku adds | Where it appears | Availability established by the cited source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds | Playable racer, custom racing suit, Diva Macchina vehicle, and five Project Onsoku songs | Racing game | SEGA said the collaboration was live with early access in September 2025; the announcement does not establish present-day availability. |
| Fortnite Festival | Featured artist appearance, outfits, and cosmetics | Festival mode in Fortnite | Epic announced Miku as the Season 7 featured artist; the announcement does not establish current shop availability. |
| Miku costume | Costume collaboration in the multiplayer game | The official Miku blog confirms the collaboration, but not whether the costume can still be obtained. | |
| SEGA feat. Hatsune Miku Project titles | “P4D Style” collaboration model | Themed content in SEGA’s Miku titles | SEGA announced the model for the project titles beginning June 23, 2016; the announcement does not establish current availability. |
Best for playing as Miku: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
If you want Miku to be more than a visual cameo, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is the strongest fit among these examples. SEGA’s 2025 announcement describes Miku as a playable racer, with a custom racing suit and the Diva Macchina vehicle. It also lists five Project Onsoku songs as part of the collaboration. The announcement reported the content live with early access on September 22, 2025, but does not confirm whether it is still accessible now. SEGA’s collaboration announcement has the details.
Best for a music-and-cosmetics crossover: Fortnite Festival
Fortnite Festival made Miku its featured artist for Season 7. Epic’s announcement presents her Festival appearance alongside outfits and cosmetics, making this a good choice if you want Miku-themed content within Fortnite rather than a separate rhythm game. The announcement confirms the seasonal collaboration, not whether the items are currently in the shop. Check the game’s current listings before planning around a specific cosmetic. Epic’s Season 7 announcement describes the collaboration.

Best for a quick costume cameo: Fall Guys
Fall Guys had a Hatsune Miku costume collaboration, a straightforward option if you are interested in dressing a character as Miku rather than playing as her in a dedicated role. The Hatsune Miku Official Blog’s September 2022 post confirms the costume collaboration. It does not say whether the costume remains obtainable, so treat it as a record of the crossover rather than a promise of current access.
Best for Miku-series fans: the P4D Style collaboration model
Not every collaboration puts Miku into an unrelated game. SEGA announced a “P4D Style” collaboration model for SEGA feat. Hatsune Miku Project titles, with the collaboration beginning June 23, 2016. It is a themed addition within Miku’s own game series, rather than a guest appearance in a separate franchise. SEGA’s announcement identifies the model and launch date, but does not establish current availability across individual titles. See SEGA’s announcement and the SEGA feat. Hatsune Miku Project portal.

Want a full Miku rhythm game instead?
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix is a dedicated Miku rhythm game for Nintendo Switch, not a guest collaboration. Nintendo’s US store page lists the game and associated song-pack downloads. That makes it the better direction if you want to play a Miku-centered game rather than collect a crossover outfit or try a limited guest appearance. Availability and downloadable content can differ by storefront region; check the relevant regional store page. Nintendo’s US product page lists the Switch release and song packs.

These collaborations offer different things, so the most useful pick depends on your preference: choose Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds for a playable racer and music, Fortnite Festival for a seasonal artist event and cosmetics, Fall Guys for a costume, or the P4D-style model for content inside SEGA’s Miku series. The cited announcements establish representative collaborations, not a complete history or a universal quality ranking.
