For a 24/7 loop of uploaded videos, StreamNeo is the clearest fit: it runs the stream from the cloud, supports uploads up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day. For a live phone camera, look at Moblin or BELABOX when you need bonded connections; for a fixed camera or live production, YouTube’s verified encoder directory lists hardware and cloud-production options.
IRL Pro is an Android mobile-streaming app, not a general-purpose service for running prerecorded video around the clock. First decide whether your source is a moving phone camera, a fixed camera, a browser-produced live show, or uploaded videos on a loop.
Choose an alternative by stream source
| What you want to stream | Best-fit direction | Why it differs from IRL Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Uploaded videos playing continuously | StreamNeo | Cloud service built to loop uploaded videos on YouTube without leaving a computer running. |
| Live video from an Android phone while moving | IRL Pro for one connection; Moblin or BELABOX when you need SRTLA bonding | These address mobile capture and connectivity, not prerecorded loops. |
| Live video from a fixed camera | A standalone encoder such as AJA HELO Plus, if compatible with the camera | Hardware encoding for a local camera setup rather than a phone app. |
| Continuous live production in the cloud | Upstream | YouTube describes it as a browser-based cloud studio for 24/7 live video streaming. |
YouTube’s encoder directory lists Gyre for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming, Upstream for 24/7 live video, and AJA HELO Plus for direct YouTube Live streaming and simultaneous recording. These are different workflows, so the directory listing alone does not establish plan limits, prices, source compatibility, channel eligibility, or uptime commitments.
Best for a prerecorded 24/7 YouTube loop: StreamNeo
StreamNeo is the strongest fit when “always-on” means replaying uploaded recordings rather than broadcasting a live camera. Upload a recording or make a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and start the stream; StreamNeo loops the content from the cloud, so your computer and home connection do not need to stay on. It streams to YouTube and does not broadcast from a camera.

For mobile IRL streams: one connection or bonded links
IRL Pro’s setup guide describes an Android app that sends RTMP or SRT over a single connection, without bonding. That can suit a phone with one usable network connection. SRT can recover packet loss within a configurable time buffer, but it still uses one link. If you have multiple links—such as two SIMs or a SIM plus Wi-Fi—and want them combined, the protocol guide points to SRTLA instead.
Moblin and BELABOX for SRTLA bonding
Enhanced IRL Docs identifies Moblin and BELABOX as SRTLA options for bonding multiple connections. Consider them when mobile coverage is variable and you have more than one network link available. They are not substitutes for a cloud service that loops uploaded videos: they address mobile live-stream capture and delivery. Confirm device compatibility and the receiving workflow before choosing a setup.

For protocol details, see the IRL Pro broadcasting guide and RTMP vs SRT vs SRTLA guide.
For a fixed camera or continuous live production
AJA HELO Plus: local hardware encoding
YouTube lists AJA HELO Plus as a standalone H.264 encoder for direct YouTube Live streaming and simultaneous recording. It may fit a fixed-camera installation, but it is not a phone app. Check that the encoder supports your camera and the unattended operating arrangement you plan to use; the directory listing does not establish compatibility with every camera or a 24/7 reliability commitment.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
Upstream: browser-based cloud studio
YouTube describes Upstream as a browser-based cloud studio for 24/7 live video streaming. That makes it a candidate for continuous live production, not necessarily a prerecorded playlist or a mobile camera rig. Before committing, verify supported sources, plan restrictions, price, availability in your region, and what happens if the stream disconnects. The YouTube directory does not provide those comparative details.
For a hardware or cloud-production shortlist, start with YouTube’s verified encoder directory and confirm the current product details with the provider.

Relay and remote-control tools are not complete alternatives
IRL.software describes IRLServer as relay infrastructure that accepts SRTLA, SRT, and RTMP and works with several IRL rigs, including BELABOX, Moblin, and LiveU. It is a relay or hosting component—not, by itself, a phone capture app or a documented prerecorded-video loop service. The same site describes IRLControl for remote OBS and Moblin control. See IRL.software.
IRLToolkit’s encoder support list includes LiveU Solo, BelaBox, OBS, IRL Pro, Prism Live, Streamlabs, and CameraFi. Treat that as compatibility guidance, not an independent assessment of video quality or reliability: IRLToolkit encoder support.
Check YouTube readiness and content rights
Enable live streaming before launch
YouTube says, “Enabling a live stream for the first time may take up to 24 hours.” Enable live streaming on the intended channel in advance rather than assuming a new channel can start immediately. See YouTube’s encoder guidance.
Use content you have the right to stream
A 24/7 schedule does not change copyright obligations. Before looping recordings, confirm that you control the relevant rights or have permission for the music, video, images, and other material. Review YouTube’s applicable live-stream and monetization policies; a tool’s ability to loop content is not permission to use it.

Troubleshoot the workflow, not just the app
- The channel cannot go live yet: If this is the channel’s first live stream, YouTube’s enablement may take up to 24 hours. Enable the feature early and verify the channel is ready before scheduling.
- A mobile stream drops when coverage weakens: IRL Pro’s documented setup uses one connection. SRT’s configurable packet-loss recovery buffer can help with packet loss on that link; if multiple links are available and bonding is required, investigate SRTLA options such as Moblin or BELABOX.
- A prerecorded loop stops when your laptop is off: A local computer-based workflow depends on that computer and its connection. Use a cloud looping service such as StreamNeo if you need the playback to continue without home hardware running.
- A fixed-camera encoder will not accept your camera: The YouTube directory does not confirm every camera/encoder pairing. Check the specific camera output and encoder input requirements before buying or installing.
- A cloud live-production product does not fit your source: The directory’s product description is not a complete compatibility or plan specification. Confirm input support, geographic availability, pricing, restrictions, and recovery behavior with the provider.
How to make the final choice
- Identify the source. Uploaded recordings point to a looping service; a moving phone points to a mobile encoder; a fixed camera points to hardware encoding; a produced live show may suit a cloud studio.
- Decide how much network resilience you need. One connection and multiple bonded links are different setups. SRT and SRTLA serve different connection patterns.
- Check what “24/7” means for the product. A directory description of continuous streaming is not a guarantee of uptime or evidence that every input and plan supports your use.
- Verify practical constraints. Confirm price, region, channel eligibility, source compatibility, content rights, and disconnect recovery before relying on a service for a continuous channel.
