NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 for arcade-action basketball
Simulation and arcade basketball are different kinds of appeal, so a single “best” label can obscure what a player actually wants. In its 2018 announcement, 2K called NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 an “over-the-top, two-on-two basketball experience” and positioned it as arcade-action alongside its NBA 2K simulation franchise.
That description supports choosing it as the arcade-style alternative in this group.
