The best current place to farm Acid in Once Human is an active Pollution Zone on your server: the official January 15, 2026 update confirms that enemies defeated there drop Acid. Because each new scenario server generates its Pollution Zone locations and quantities randomly, then fixes them, older coordinate lists are leads to check—not reliable current destinations.
Where to farm Acid now
Prioritize an active Pollution Zone
Choose an active Pollution Zone shown in your current world, then farm enemies there. The Once Human Development Team’s January 15, 2026 update says, “Defeating enemies in Pollution Zones will drop Stardust Source and Acid.” The update also says new scenario servers randomly generate Pollution Zone locations at launch, with positions and types fixed thereafter. That makes the zone visible on your server a better guide than coordinates copied from an older route.
Pollution Zones offer higher rewards, but they also bring hazards: the official update notes increased gear degradation related to death and corrosion to structures. Consider the pollution value and the protection and upkeep your base would need—not just the potential yield—when selecting a place to farm.
Blackfell Fallen Zone: a historical route to check
A September 2024 Upcomer guide singled out Blackfell Fallen Zone for dense enemy farming. Its author, Kyle Ferreira, reported collecting 164 Acid in a 20-minute run without a food buff, then 220 Acid in a subsequent 20-minute run with one. These are the author’s results from 2024, not a current yield guarantee. Use the location only if your current world still offers suitable enemy density and access.

The same guide listed these older polluted-area coordinates. They predate the 2026 random-generation rule, so verify each in your world before travelling:

- Blackheart Region, east of the Forsaken Monolith: (886, -1184)

Build a passive Acid supply
Process Polluted Water
Older Upcomer and Prima Games guides describe a base setup that pumps Polluted Water, purifies it into Impure Acid, then processes the Impure Acid with purified water in a Brewing Barrel. The guides also describe the power, water and facility requirements. As those instructions date to 2024, check the current crafting interface for facility names, recipes and throughput before investing in the build.

Putting the setup in a Pollution Zone has a documented cost: the 2026 official update says structures there continuously corrode, with protection-material use and corrosion speed scaling with pollution value. A high-pollution spot may offer a useful resource environment, but it can increase the materials and maintenance your base needs.
Grow contaminated crops
A Pro Game Guides article updated January 17, 2025 describes finding contaminated plant seeds in the polluted area near northwest Chalk Peak. It reports that two Contaminated Aloe Vera plants produce one Acid, while other contaminated crops require three plants per Acid, and notes that Aloe Vera has a narrower irrigation range. Treat those as guide-reported recipes and efficiency comparisons; confirm the current recipe and growing requirements in game.

Other enemy routes and older crafting advice
A July 2024 Prima Games guide lists Brookham, High Banks, Holt Town, Blackfell Oil Fields and Securement Silo – Theta as enemy-farming areas. These are historical alternatives, not confirmed current Acid routes under the January 2026 update. Check whether enemies in the area still drop Acid and whether their density suits your run. Upcomer’s 2024 comparison found more Acid in its author’s Blackfell Fallen Zone run than at Dayton Hospital, but that single older comparison does not establish which route is best now.
Prima Games also describes a Sulfur Chemist specialization recipe at a Synthesis Bench: five Sulfur and 50 Energy Links per Acid in the guide’s version. Since the advice is from 2024, verify that the specialization and recipe remain available and unchanged in your client.
