There is no current, checkable list of 15 players under 7,000 coins on EA FC 24 Ultimate Team that this article can stand behind. Transfer prices move with demand, Squad Building Challenge (SBC) requirements and platform, and the published guides that name cheap players are dated. This article explains what “under 7k” has to mean before a price can be trusted, shows which historical names and price points are on record and how old they are, and gives you a method to build your own live shortlist.
Two qualifications come first. EA FC 24 is the 2023 edition of the series. EA has since released newer editions, including EA SPORTS FC 26, and card versions and coin prices do not carry over between editions. No live FC 24 prices were checked for this update, so every figure below is historical and is labelled as such.

What “under 7k” has to mean
A price ceiling is only useful if the reader and the article use the same definition. Settle these four points before you filter anything:
- Price type. Use the buy-now price on the transfer market, not the current bid or the price a card would sell for. Buy-now is the figure you pay to get the player immediately.
- Platform. PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Switch each run their own transfer market. A price on one platform does not establish the price on another.
- Card version. “Player name” is not a card. Base, special and event versions of the same footballer have different ratings, attributes and prices. Record the exact version you are pricing.
- Tradeability. Untradeable cards, such as many rewards and some SBC-locked items, cannot be bought on the market, so they should be excluded from any “buy under 7k” list.
Why a verified top 15 cannot be published here
A ranked list of 15 needs a live buy-now price for each card, on one platform, on one date. The sources available for this update do not provide that. FUTBIN and FUT.GG are third-party player databases that show ratings, positions and coin prices, and FUT.GG describes filtering by price. They are not EA’s official market feed, and the pages consulted did not return a filtered list at the 7,000-coin ceiling. Their most visible cards are often end-game cards priced far above this budget, so a database sorted by overall rating will mislead a budget buyer.

The older guides are useful for names and attributes but not for prices. Dexerto’s cheap-85 guide listed base cards at around 4,500 coins or less when it was written, and it cautions that “the prices for each are subject to market fluctuation.” The publication date of that article could not be confirmed. Any price in it is a historical figure.
Historical names and what they tell you
The guides below are useful as a starting pool for your own search. Their prices are dated approximations, not current quotes, and their publication dates could not be confirmed.

Vandal’s older guide: role and attribute spread
Vandal’s Spanish guide grouped cheap players by role. The table gives the attributes and approximate prices as the guide listed them. “Not stated” means the guide did not give that value.
| Player | Role named in the guide | Overall | Pace | Guide price (approx., dated) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Caitlin Foord | Pace and dribbling | 84 | 86 | approx. 1,500 coins |
| Erin Cuthbert | All-around midfielder | 83 | not stated | approx. 1,000 coins |
| Jule Brand | Pace | 81 | 91 | approx. 850 coins |
| Beto | Pace and physicality | 81 | 86 | approx. 750 coins |
| Dávid Hancko | Defensive attributes | 80 | not stated | approx. 850 coins |
| Balde | Pace | not stated | not stated | not stated |
| Fabian Schär | Defensive attributes | not stated | not stated | not stated |
| Koke | Midfield passing and defense | not stated | not stated | not stated |
| Marcelo Brozović | Midfield passing and defense | not stated | not stated | not stated |
The table shows that a low price does not imply a single role. The guide lists pace-led, physical, defensive and midfield options at similar budgets, so the attribute profile should decide which card fits your team.

Charlie INTEL’s Futties-era price bands
Charlie INTEL’s price list was built around Futties-era cards and SBC demand. It is most useful for comparing fodder value, not on-pitch performance. Its own text notes that cards rated 82 or below often trade close to discard value, and that SBC demand can push higher-rated cards up. Caitlin Foord, who appears in the Vandal table, is also in the 84-rated band below.
| Rating in snapshot | Names listed | Historical price (dated snapshot) |
|---|---|---|
| 83 | Giulia Gwinn, Alexandre Lacazette, Andreas Christensen, Jorginho, Filip Kostic | 900 coins |
| 84 | Harder, Nnadozie, Ilestedt, Ginter (and Foord) | roughly 1,500–1,900 coins |
| 85 | Sauerbrunn, Sheridan, Zinsberger, Çalhanoğlu, Bright | roughly 3,100–3,500 coins |
Ratings and prices in this table were recorded in a single Futties-era snapshot, and the publication date could not be confirmed. Current prices for the same names may be very different.

How to build your own current 15
The method below produces a list that is actually current. Run it on the platform you play, on the day you plan to buy.
- Choose your platform and open the player search on FUTBIN or FUT.GG. Treat the database as a search tool, not as a price source.
- Set the price filter to a buy-now ceiling of 7,000 coins. If the database shows a different price from what your in-game market shows, trust the in-game market.
- Filter by card version. Decide whether you accept special versions, and note the version for every card you record.
- Group the results by role: pace wingers, centre-backs and full-backs, central midfielders, and strikers. Keep no more than three candidates per role so the list stays usable.
- Check chemistry links. Note the club, nation and league of each card, because chemistry depends on them.
- Rank within each role by attributes that matter for that role, such as pace and dribbling for wingers or defending and physicality for centre-backs. Do not rank by overall rating alone.
- Re-check the buy-now price in the transfer market immediately before you buy, and record the time you checked.
What to record for each card
- Exact card name and version
- Platform and buy-now price, with the date and time you checked it
- Position, role and the two or three attributes that matter for that role
- Club, nation and league, for chemistry
- Whether the card is tradeable
If the price you see does not match
- Different from a database figure: the database may be out of date. Use the buy-now price on your platform.
- Different from a guide figure: guide prices are historical. Treat them as a starting point only.
- Different from a friend’s price on another platform: markets are separate. Compare only platform to platform.
Fodder or playable: decide before you filter
A cheap card can be useful for two different reasons, and they need different criteria. A card used as SBC fodder only needs to meet the rating requirement at the lowest price. A playable option needs the attributes and role fit to start matches. The Charlie INTEL bands show why the two categories differ: the price gap between 83- and 85-rated cards is large, but on-pitch fit depends on attributes that the price does not reveal. Decide which category you are buying for before you set the search filters.
