What this PS5 release actually adds
The PlayStation Store lists Disney•Pixar Toy Story 3 for PS4 and PS5 with a release date of March 14, 2025. It describes the game as the PSP release converted for modern PlayStation hardware and names four enhancements:

Use Game mode before changing color or sharpness
Game mode is the sensible first choice because it normally reduces television processing and keeps controls responsive. The recommendation is about latency and consistency, not about a particular brand or model. If your television uses a different label, choose its ordinary low-latency gaming preset.
Leave PS5 video output on Automatic while establishing the baseline. Do not confuse a game filter with PS5 Color Correction or High Contrast. A filter changes the game’s rendered picture; the console accessibility controls affect the broader system experience and may not transform every game element in the same way.
Use Zoom for a small area, not as a permanent replacement for readable text
PS5 Zoom is useful when a particular instruction, menu item or HUD element is too small. In Settings > Accessibility > Display and Sound, enable Zoom and use it when needed. Start with the smallest magnification that lets you read the target, then return to the normal view so navigation and motion remain practical.

Zoom enlarges the screen rather than rewriting the game’s interface. It can move important information outside the visible area, so check the whole scene after activating it. If the same text is always difficult to read, Text Size, Bold Text or High Contrast may be less disruptive than leaving the entire screen magnified.
Increase Text Size, Bold Text or High Contrast in small steps
Use Text Size when the main problem is the physical size of menu text. Use Bold Text when thin lettering disappears against a busy background. Use High Contrast when foreground and background colors blend together. These are PS5-level controls documented by Sony; the game listing does not confirm that Toy Story 3 implements matching in-game toggles.
After each change, inspect a game menu and a moving gameplay scene. A setting that improves system text may have little or no effect on a game’s own text, while a stronger contrast treatment can make the overall picture look less natural. Keep the lowest setting that solves the reading problem.

Apply Color Correction when colors, not brightness, are the obstacle
If two objects are difficult to distinguish because their hues are similar, enable Color Correction and adjust its intensity. Color correction is more targeted than simply increasing brightness: it changes how colors are represented so that distinctions are easier to perceive.

Enable Reduce Motion for discomfort caused by movement
PS5 Reduce Motion is intended for players who find animated movement uncomfortable. Turn it on in the same Display and Sound accessibility area, then test camera movement, menus and transitions in Toy Story 3. Because the store listing does not state how the game responds to this system option, treat any improvement as system-level behavior rather than a guaranteed game-specific reduction of every animation.
Audio settings and hearing accommodations
Select the correct output device
Confirm that PS5 is sending sound to the device you are actually using: television speakers, a soundbar or a headset. The relevant control is in the PS5 sound settings. A wrong output selection can look like a game-mix problem when the console is simply sending audio elsewhere.

Use Mono Audio when stereo separation reduces audibility
Players who hear one side better than the other may lose speech or effects when they are placed primarily in the weaker channel. PS5 documents Mono Audio among its accessibility controls. Enable it when combining left and right channels produces a clearer result, then test with the same headset or speakers you use for play.
Mono Audio changes the console’s channel presentation; it does not prove that Toy Story 3 has a mono option of its own. If stereo positioning is important to you and both channels are equally usable, leave Mono Audio off.
Understand what Closed Captions can and cannot do
According to Sony’s accessibility guidance, closed captions can transcribe speech and provide text for audio cues when viewing supported content. Enable them under Settings > Accessibility > Closed Captions if you want to test the feature.
Caption availability is content-dependent. The Toy Story 3 store listing does not publish a game-specific caption-support statement, so you should not promise that every line of dialogue or sound effect will appear as text. If no captions appear during gameplay, that is consistent with the game’s undocumented support rather than proof that the PS5 setting failed.
Screen Reader is console narration, not automatic game narration

Language availability for spoken system guidance depends on the console language and the languages supported by the feature. Do not treat a silent game menu as a malfunctioning Screen Reader when the game has not documented compatibility.

A practical setup sequence for different players
If you mainly need larger, clearer text
- Keep the television in Game or low-latency mode and leave PS5 video output on Automatic.
