Which race should you choose for your playstyle?
Combat damage
If you mainly want offensive bonuses, the surfaced guide presents Demon as combat-oriented because of reported damage and attack-speed benefits. Angel is presented as a more mixed mobility-and-combat option. These are descriptions from a third-party guide, not a verified comparison of live-game damage or effectiveness.

Mobility and survivability
The same guide associates Angel with movement-related bonuses and Shadow with speed and dodge. It associates Minotaur with health. Those descriptions suggest different approaches—moving quickly, avoiding hits, or having more durability—but there is not enough reliable evidence to rank them against one another.
Mining and resource gathering
Dwarf is the example linked to mining in the surfaced guide. Since The Forge centers on mining, exploration, quests, and crafting, a mining-oriented bonus may match a gathering-focused routine. The current size and effect of any Dwarf bonus are not established by accessible primary information.

Luck and economy
Angel is also reported to have a luck bonus. The available material does not establish how that bonus affects drops, its current value, or whether it outperforms other ways to improve your economy. Choose it for this reason only if the live in-game description confirms the effect you care about.
Should you spend race rerolls?
Rerolling is described in third-party guides as the way to change a character’s race. One guide identifies a Wizard NPC in Stonewake’s Cross as an access point, but the exact current location, costs, acquisition routes, and any other methods are not confirmed. Check the current game before relying on those details.

One third-party page reports 0.5% drop rates for Angel and Demon, but the figure is not corroborated as a current authoritative rate. It is not a sound basis for deciding how many rerolls to use.

For now, treat any online race tier list as a dated, source-specific recommendation. The safest choice is the race whose currently displayed in-game effects support the activity you actually do—not the one assigned the highest letter grade by a guide with unverified stats.
