Other catalog-listed options include Wreckfest, Trailmakers, Trials Fusion, Asphalt Legends and The Crew 2. Game Pass availability changes and varies by plan, region and device; check each game’s Store listing and your plan before downloading. The available evidence does not verify ten distinct racing games as included, so this guide names the confirmed candidates rather than padding a “best 10” with EA Play or separately priced titles.
Which racing games are on Xbox Game Pass?
The Microsoft Store’s U.S. “Racing & flying” results filtered for Game Pass showed 37 items when accessed in 2026. That is a catalog count, not a ranking, and the filter mixes access routes: some results are marked as included with Game Pass, some with EA Play, and others have separate prices. The opened view displayed 23 of the 37 entries, so it does not establish a complete list of ten current Game Pass-included racing games. Check the Microsoft Store’s filtered results and the individual product page for current eligibility.

Among the entries specifically marked included with Game Pass in that view were Forza Horizon 5, Forza Motorsport, Wreckfest, Trailmakers, Trials Fusion, Asphalt Legends and The Crew 2. Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 was also listed, but it is a workshop simulator rather than a straightforward racing game. Several Need for Speed titles and DIRT 5 appeared as included with EA Play in the same listing; that label should not be treated as confirmation that they are included with every Game Pass plan.
Best picks by driving style
Forza Horizon 5: open-world driving
Choose Forza Horizon 5 if you want to roam an open world and move between varied events rather than stick to a track-only format. Xbox places the game in Mexico and describes a collection of hundreds of cars. Its product page lists Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PC and cloud play information, and labels the standard edition as included with Game Pass. Availability on a particular device still depends on the current catalog and plan. See Forza Horizon 5 on Xbox.

Forza Motorsport: track-focused competition
For a track-focused structure with career progression and multiplayer competition, Forza Motorsport is the better fit than Horizon. Xbox describes it as having more than 500 cars and labels the standard edition included with Game Pass. See Forza Motorsport on Xbox.
Forza Horizon 6: Japan-set open-world racing
Forza Horizon 6 is set in Japan. In an Xbox Wire announcement dated May 19, 2026, Microsoft said it was coming to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, with Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld and PC availability, and described a lineup of more than 550 real-world cars. The announcement names those plans; it does not establish inclusion in every Game Pass tier or region. Confirm the listing for your account before relying on access. Read the Xbox Wire announcement.

Wreckfest: a destruction-racing alternative
Wreckfest was marked as included with Game Pass in the Store view. Its title points toward destruction racing, but the listing reviewed here does not provide enough detail to make a more specific claim about its mechanics. Check the current product page to confirm access and features.

Trailmakers: a vehicle-building adjacent pick
Trailmakers was also marked as included. It broadens the shortlist beyond conventional racing games as a vehicle-building adjacent option; the catalog listing alone does not establish its specific racing modes.

Trials Fusion offers a motorcycle-trials variation on a car-racing shortlist. The Store view marked it as included with Game Pass, but did not document its modes in detail.
Asphalt Legends: an arcade-oriented option
Asphalt Legends was marked as included in the filtered catalog. It is a possible alternative if you want an arcade-oriented game, though the reviewed listing does not substantiate a more detailed comparison.

The Crew 2: another catalog-listed alternative
The Crew 2 appeared as included with Game Pass in the Store view, giving the shortlist another option beyond the Forza entries. Confirm current access and check the product listing for the modes and vehicle options that matter to you.
How to choose without mistaking a catalog result for inclusion
- Pick a format first. Choose Horizon for open-world driving, Motorsport for track-focused racing, Trials Fusion for motorcycle trials, or one of the other listed titles for a different style.
- Open the individual game’s Store page. Look for the specific access label, not just its presence in a filtered Game Pass search. A result marked “Included with EA Play” is not the same label as “Included with Game Pass.”
- Check your plan, region and device. Catalog eligibility can vary, and a game’s availability on one device or plan does not prove it is available on another.
- Recheck before installing. The catalog changes; use the current product page and your account’s Game Pass view as the final check.
What this list can—and can’t—confirm
The Store snapshot supports several distinct candidates, but it does not verify ten current Game Pass-included racing games: only the first 23 of 37 filtered results were visible, and some of those visible titles used EA Play or separate purchase labels. Forza Horizon 6 is supported by a dated announcement naming Ultimate and PC Game Pass, not a universal tier claim. Treat the catalog labels as a point-in-time availability check, not a permanent promise.
