The Militech “Apogee” suits burst-damage builds that benefit from headshots and critical hits; the “Falcon” trades some of that emphasis for longer maximum activation and health recovery after a takedown. Older guides that send you to one specific vendor may reflect the pre-2.0 system, not current availability.
How Sandevistan availability works now
Update 2.0 changed cyberware acquisition and progression. CD PROJEKT RED’s guidance says item tiers become widely available after level thresholds, while noting that items from other tiers can still appear. That means a ripperdoc’s stock can vary: check vendors as you progress rather than treating one named shop as the only source. CD PROJEKT RED also explains that cyberware can be upgraded at ripperdocs.

Reported levels for the two Iconic models
A guide for Patch 2.31 reports the Falcon becoming available at level 30 and the Apogee at level 40. Those model-specific thresholds come from a secondary guide, not the official guidance cited above, and may change with patches. If you meet the reported level but do not see the implant, check other ripperdocs and revisit later.
Apogee or Falcon: which one is best?
There is no universal winner: the choice depends on whether your build values offensive burst or more time and recovery during an activation. CD PROJEKT RED’s Update 2.1 notes document the direction of their balance changes, but do not by themselves establish every current stat for every item tier.

Use the Apogee if your damage plan is built around landing high-value hits during slowed time. Consider the Falcon if you want a longer maximum window and the added health recovery after a takedown. Compare the item descriptions and values shown in your own game before committing: tier and game build can affect what you see.
Where to buy a Sandevistan
- Progress V’s level, then visit a ripperdoc and open the cyberware stock.
- Look through the available operating systems for the Sandevistan you want. If it is not listed, check another ripperdoc or return after leveling.
- Compare the available model and tier against your build and cyberware capacity before purchasing.
- If you already own cyberware worth keeping, ask the ripperdoc to upgrade it using components matching the quality being upgraded, as described by CD PROJEKT RED’s cyberware guidance.
The level 30 Falcon and level 40 Apogee figures are reported by a Patch 2.31 secondary guide; they are not official guarantees of stock at a particular vendor. Availability can also depend on your game version and progression.

Can you find a free Sandevistan at a fixed location?
Do not count on a guaranteed container or map location for either Iconic model. Secondary sources discuss possible Iconic cyberware loot, but a universal fixed Sandevistan spawn is not established here. Treat any claimed free-loot route as optional and version-dependent; ripperdoc stock is the dependable acquisition route.

Pre-2.0 guides can describe vendor-specific stock, older Mk. labels, or item values from a different cyberware system. Apogee and Falcon belong to the post-2.0 system, and later balance changes also matter: for example, Update 2.1 changed duration and damage or recovery attributes. For a current run, use your ripperdoc’s live inventory and item description rather than relying on an old map pin or copied stat list.
