If you want football, start with EA SPORTS FC 26; if you want basketball, start with NBA 2K26. The right pick depends first on the sport you want to play, then on the game’s PC storefront, online and account requirements, and whether your computer meets its specs. Both are 2025 releases, so check current editions and listings before buying in 2026.
Which sports game should you buy on PC?
Choose EA SPORTS FC 26 for association football and NBA 2K26 for basketball. They are not interchangeable alternatives: the sport is the clearest deciding factor. This is a focused comparison of those two games, not a ranking of every sports title available on PC.

What does “best sports games on PC 2026” mean here?
Sales popularity offers context, but it does not decide which game is best for you. GfK Entertainment reported in January 2026 that EA Sports FC 26 was Europe’s best-selling video game of 2025 across platforms and ranked first in 16 of the 17 countries surveyed. This is a European, all-platform chart result—not PC sales data, a player count, or evidence that the game is better than NBA 2K26.
