Her Stamina and Power growth bonuses make those stats efficient to develop, but Speed still needs deliberate training. There is no universal best deck: choose one for your race mode, distance, available recovery skills, and developed support cards.
Which races and running style suit Rising☆Fortune?
The Global character database lists her aptitudes as Turf A, Mile C, Medium A, Long A; Front G, Pace B, Late A, and End F (Umamusume.run character database, accessed 2026). Turf medium and long races are her clearest natural fit. Mile is possible but starts at C; short-distance racing is a poor fit, with Short at F.
Late Surger aligns best with her A aptitude. Pace Chaser is a workable alternative at B if a particular race plan or skill set calls for it, but do not build around Front or End: their G and F aptitudes make them mismatches without substantial aptitude improvement. GamerBlurb labels her a Pace Chaser, but that conflicts with the character aptitude data; use the in-game aptitude ratings as the more relevant guide for style selection.
What stats should you train?
Use growth bonuses without neglecting Speed
At one star, her initial stats are Speed 77, Stamina 81, Power 88, Guts 81, and Wit 73. Her growth bonuses are +20% Stamina and +10% Power (Umamusume.run character database). Those bonuses make Stamina and Power productive training targets, particularly for longer races, but they do not make Speed optional. A sound general plan is to build Speed deliberately, raise Stamina to match the distance and recovery in the build, and use her growth bonuses to develop Power and Stamina efficiently.

Choose targets by mode, not by a single “best” number
Published guides offer different targets because they address different build contexts. Game8’s search extract labels its figures as a Team Trials target: 1200 Speed, 800 Stamina, 800 Power, 400 Guts, and 400 Wit. It also says lower targets can suffice for career clearing. GamerBlurb instead recommends approximately 850+ Speed, 500+ Stamina for Medium or 650+ for Long, 450+ Power, and 300+ Wit, with Guts largely skipped. Those are guide recommendations, not tested performance guarantees, and the sources do not establish that the two sets are directly comparable.
For PvP, Umamusume Global Reference gives the priority order Stamina > Speed > Power > Wit > Guts, with Stamina prioritized below the cap for the race distance. Treat that as a PvP-specific approach, not a universal ranking.

Use these as context-specific guideposts rather than thresholds that guarantee wins. The race distance, scenario, inheritance, recovery skill access, and support-card development all change what your run can reach and what it needs. For a career clear, prioritize a balanced build that reliably completes the target races; for Team Trials or PvP, tune toward that mode’s scoring and race demands.
Which skills are worth prioritizing?
Plan recovery around distance and activation
For medium and especially long races, a gold recovery skill such as Swinging Maestro is worth considering if your stamina plan needs it. Game8’s Rising Fortune guide extract identifies SSR Rice Shower [Happiness Just around the Bend], a Power support card, as a career-event source for the skill (Game8 Rising Fortune guide). Its value depends on whether the event chain and skill acquisition fit your run; do not assume the skill will be available in every build.

Her level-one A Small Breather is described as a small mid-race recovery that applies when she is positioned midpack or farther back. It is therefore more naturally aligned with a Late Surger plan than an early-leading strategy, but it is not guaranteed to activate in every race. Lucky Seven is also listed among her level-one skills; assess its situational value alongside skills that support the chosen distance and running style (Umamusu Wiki, Rising Fortune).
Match style hints to the aptitude you are using
Give preference to useful Late Surger-compatible skills when building her around Late A. Pace Chaser is a secondary option supported by her B aptitude, but cards should not be selected just because they offer style hints that do not fit the plan. Check the actual skill conditions and the race distances you expect to run before spending skill points.

How should you choose support cards?
There is no single evidenced best-in-slot deck for every roster. The cited guides propose different ratios, so use their recommendations as starting structures and adapt for card levels, limit breaks, training output, and skill access.
| Use case | Example deck direction | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Team Trials | 3 Speed / 2 Power / 1 Pal, as suggested in Game8’s extract | Supports Speed while investing in Power; plan Stamina through training, inheritance, or recovery as needed. Game8 Rising Fortune guide |
| Alternate balanced build | 2 Stamina / 2 Power / 2 Speed, as suggested by GamerBlurb | Directly emphasizes distance stamina and power, but offers fewer Speed cards than the Team Trials example. GamerBlurb build guide |
For PvP, Umamusume Global Reference frames its card advice around a Stamina-first priority below the relevant distance cap; its recommendations are PvP-oriented rather than a universal career-clearing deck (Umamusume Global Reference). In practice, compare candidate decks on four questions:

- Does the race mode require a high Speed ceiling, or more dependable Stamina for the target distance?
- Can your selected cards and inheritance reach the desired balance, given their current levels and limit breaks?
- Does the deck provide an appropriate recovery skill, such as Swinging Maestro, or will another source cover it?
- Do the offered skill hints match Late Surger (or your chosen Pace Chaser plan) and the races you are entering?
Matikanefukukitaru’s own SSR Speed support card is a support card, not the trainee version to place in her own training deck; Game8’s support-card extract notes its chain events are randomized (Game8 support-card page). Keep that distinction in mind when comparing character-specific card advice with her trainee build.
Are Rising☆Fortune and Lucky Tidings the same version?
No. [Rising☆Fortune] and [Lucky Tidings] have different career events and abilities. The Global notice says they are nevertheless treated as the same Umamusume for team-membership and legacy-selection restrictions. Its notice documents a Lucky Tidings spotlight that ran November 6–17, 2025 UTC; that historical schedule does not establish present availability, and the notice cautions that schedules and contents can change (Umamusume.gg/DotGG Global scout notice).
