What Strike is built to do
Focus Entertainment describes Strike as a high-damage class focused on eliminating groups with its signature Fireball ability. Its upgrades can change the projectile, expand the explosion, or set enemies on fire. Strike also carries more ammunition and grenades than other classes, reloads faster, and can gain melee attacks that ignite enemies through perks. Big Boom: Power Spike for dense waves
The Games.gg guide dated March 18, 2026 calls its Power Spike setup “Big Boom.” It recommends Intensification IV and Energized. The intended cycle is to hit a dense group with Power Spike, use kills to accelerate energy recovery, then activate the ability again when the next group arrives. The same Games.gg guide calls its Fireball setup “Firebrand,” recommending Supernova and Energized, with Thermodynamic for fire synergy. It is the more flexible route when you need to cover a larger area, damage special enemies, or keep moving rather than committing to one burst window. NoobFeed’s March 25, 2026 guide independently recommends an explosive Fireball approach for general horde clearing, with blast-radius and energy upgrades; it also identifies Power Spike as a higher-level burst route and Shatterblast as a wider-area alternative. Adapt Strike to solo or co-op
In a squad
Coordinate before using Power Spike near allies, and agree on fire lanes before spreading flames through an objective area. Strike’s crowd-clear strengths do not remove the need to account for tougher specials, so pair it with teammates who can cover that weakness rather than expecting one build to handle every enemy type. When playing solo
Favor a weapon that remains dependable through repeated crowds and reloads. Epic’s solo guidance recommends assault rifles and SMGs for their reload and crowd-coverage balance, and presents Strike as a strong early solo choice because explosive energy can clear enemies from objectives. Focus Entertainment’s September 2, 2026 update announcement lists Retrieval mode, Goblins, the Le Clairon assault rifle, a Thunderstick melee weapon, a flamethrower, Dash, Saw Trap, vehicle changes, and quality-of-life updates. It does not report a Strike balance change. That leaves room to use the March 2026 builds as practical starting points, but the announcement alone cannot confirm that their rankings remain optimal after every patch.
