What’s actually slowing this PC down?

For Indian creators who want to loop pre-recorded videos without leaving a computer running, a cloud playout service is the best-fit category. StreamNeo is the first option to consider: it keeps a YouTube stream running from uploaded videos in the cloud, at any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, with the first day free. For camera, gameplay, or screen capture, use an encoder on a PC or standalone hardware instead; that gives you direct production control but requires your own equipment and connection to remain available.
There is no evidence-based universal winner for every channel. The right choice depends on whether you are replaying existing videos or producing a live feed, how much operation you want to handle yourself, and whether YouTube is your only destination.
Best options by use case
| Rank and option | Best fit | What it does | Check before choosing |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. StreamNeo | Looping uploaded videos on YouTube without keeping a local computer on. | Cloud-based YouTube streaming with 24/7 looping and playlists, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and one flat price per slot for any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps. The first day is free with no card. | Each slot includes 10 GB storage, pooled across active slots. Confirm the storage available for your intended playlist and upload plan. |
| 2. Gyre | Continuously streaming pre-recorded videos from the cloud. | YouTube lists Gyre as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 streaming of pre-recorded videos. Its own site also advertises cloud streaming. | Verify current India availability, pricing, plan limits, replay rights, and independent uptime evidence. Promotional growth claims are not independently established. |
| 3. OneStream Live | Scheduled or continuous pre-recorded YouTube streams. | Its September 2026 help documentation describes a YouTube-only 24/7 option requiring Enterprise, with a maximum duration of 30 days. A separate add-on page describes a YouTube-only 24-hour add-on for up to three concurrent streams. | Packaging is account- and plan-specific. Confirm which plan or add-on applies, current limits, price, billing availability in India, and support. |
| 4. Local software encoder | Live camera, gameplay, screen capture, or a production with multiple sources. | YouTube supports encoder software running on a computer. You configure the encoder with the stream URL and key from YouTube Studio. | Check operating-system support, encoder settings, reconnect behavior, and whether your computer, power, and internet can stay available continuously. |
| 5. Standalone hardware encoder | Advanced camera-led or multi-source production. | YouTube recognizes hardware encoders and professional setups combining cameras, microphones, mixers, and encoders. | Check the exact model’s codec and output support, heat, power and network needs, as well as India pricing and warranty. The available sources do not compare models. |
| 6. Restream | Creators who already use an encoder and also need destinations beyond YouTube. | Restream documents connecting common encoders through RTMP. It is an adjacent multistreaming option, not a necessary component for YouTube-only 24/7 playback. | Confirm that multiple destinations are needed, then check current channel limits, pricing, and upload capacity. |
For StreamNeo, the sequence is simple: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It plays uploaded videos rather than broadcasting a live camera feed, and it streams to YouTube only.
Choose based on what viewers will see
Pre-recorded video playlist
If the channel is meant to keep music, gameplay recordings, devotional content, or another recorded program on air, compare cloud playout services first. They move continuous playback off your own computer. Consider how playlists are managed, how long a stream can run, storage limits, recovery behavior, and the provider’s current plan terms.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Live camera, gameplay, or screen capture
A cloud playlist service is not a substitute for a live camera or interactive gameplay feed. Use a software or hardware encoder that captures the live sources, then keep the equipment and network path running. YouTube’s setup guide describes the encoder connection workflow, but the sources do not establish which encoder is most reliable for a long-running stream.
YouTube plus other platforms
If YouTube is the only destination, a multistreaming relay may add complexity without solving the core 24/7 playback problem. Restream’s documentation covers connecting encoders over RTMP when additional destinations are needed.

What Indian creators should verify before paying
- Plan access: Cloud services may put continuous streaming behind a specific plan or add-on. OneStream Live’s September 2026 help pages describe different packaging paths, so confirm the terms attached to your account.
- Duration and concurrent streams: OneStream Live documents a 30-day maximum for one 24/7 workflow and up to three concurrent streams for a separate add-on. These are vendor- and packaging-specific, not general YouTube limits.
- Price and local billing: The reviewed documentation does not establish a comparable current India price, local availability, or support response across Gyre, OneStream Live, and other providers. Check the checkout page and plan conditions for your account.
- Payment: StreamNeo accepts UPI and cards in India; worldwide checkout is by card. Its monthly plan is $9.99 per month.
- Copyright and replay rights: Being able to loop a file technically does not mean you have permission to rebroadcast it. Confirm that you control the necessary rights to the video, music, artwork, and other material, and review YouTube’s current policies before scheduling a continuous stream. Use the copyright safety checklist as a practical preflight.
Set up YouTube encoder streaming
This workflow is for a local software or hardware encoder sending a live feed. YouTube’s labels can change; the core setup is to create or select a stream in YouTube Studio and give the encoder the stream URL and key.
- Confirm eligibility: YouTube says the channel must be verified, have no live-stream restriction in the previous 90 days, and meet the minimum age requirement of 16. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.
- Allow for first-time enablement: YouTube says enabling live streaming for the first time may take up to 24 hours. Do this before the planned broadcast rather than at airtime. Details are in YouTube’s encoder setup guide.
- Create or select the stream in YouTube Studio: Open YouTube Studio, start the live-stream setup, and select an existing stream or create one. Copy the stream URL and stream key shown for the stream.
- Enter the connection details in your encoder: In the encoder’s streaming settings, choose the YouTube/RTMP destination if available, or enter YouTube’s stream URL and key in the corresponding server and key fields. Treat the stream key as a password; do not publish or share it.
- Configure the feed: Set the encoder’s output to a resolution and frame rate your source and upload connection can sustain. YouTube’s guide explains the connection process; the sources reviewed here do not establish a universal bitrate, keyframe interval, or resolution setting for every encoder and network. Follow the current YouTube recommendations shown in Studio and your encoder’s documentation rather than copying a setting that may not match your upload capacity.
- Start sending, then confirm the preview: Start streaming from the encoder and check the YouTube Studio preview/status before making the stream public or promoting it. Watch for dropped frames or a warning that the feed is not arriving.
- Plan the archive: YouTube Help says, “All streams under 12 hours will be automatically archived.” It does not promise automatic archiving for streams longer than 12 hours. If an archive matters, plan a separate recording or break the broadcast into shorter segments, and confirm current behavior in Studio.
Upload capacity and network planning
For a local encoder, the live feed depends on the computer and internet connection staying available. Restream’s July 31, 2026 guidance recommends at least 10 Mbps upload and 25 Mbps or higher for Full HD. Those are Restream recommendations, not YouTube minimums or a guarantee for an Indian connection. Leave headroom for network variation and other devices, and check the actual upload performance at the location where the stream will run.

Common problems and practical fixes
- Live streaming is unavailable in Studio: Check channel verification, the prior-90-day restriction status, and age eligibility. If this is the first activation, allow up to 24 hours for enablement.
- The encoder is connected but YouTube receives no feed: Recheck the stream URL and key copied from the selected Studio stream, ensure the encoder is actually sending, and check its output status. If the key may have been exposed, replace it in Studio and update the encoder.
- The feed drops or stutters: For a local encoder, check upload capacity and whether the computer or network is interrupting the connection. Restream recommends 10 Mbps upload and 25 Mbps or higher for Full HD, but these are its recommendations rather than guaranteed thresholds. For cloud playback, confirm the service’s reconnect or recovery behavior and current plan conditions.
- The stream stops at a duration limit: Check the provider’s specific plan or add-on terms. OneStream Live’s cited documentation describes a 30-day maximum on one workflow, while its separate add-on page describes another packaging route.
- No archive appears after a long broadcast: YouTube’s automatic archive statement applies to streams under 12 hours. For longer broadcasts, maintain an independent recording or use shorter segments if preserving an archive is important.
- A video or music claim appears: Review the rights for every element in the playlist and YouTube’s current copyright and live-stream policies. A continuous stream does not exempt replayed content from rights requirements.
Sources and scope
YouTube’s official guidance covers encoder setup, eligibility, and archive behavior. Provider capability and plan statements above are attributed to vendor documentation: OneStream Live’s 24/7 setup page, its add-ons page, Restream’s encoder guide, Restream’s YouTube guide, and Gyre’s site. No hands-on long-duration reliability test or independent performance comparison supports a universal winner, and the cited materials do not establish Indian pricing or availability for those other providers.
