Bethesda’s October 23, 2025 Fallout Day recap announced Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition, a planned Nintendo Switch 2 release, Fallout 76: Burning Springs, a New Vegas anniversary bundle and Fallout Shelter Seasons. It did not announce native Fallout 76 versions for PS5 or Xbox Series X|S: Bethesda discussed those in separate release notes on June 2, 2026, describing public testing and a planned release later that summer.
What did Bethesda announce for Fallout Day?
Bethesda describes Fallout Day as an annual celebration of the Fallout franchise and its fans. Its October 23, 2025 broadcast recap covered updates to existing games, community events and merchandise. The headline game announcement was Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition, a collection of the base game, its six official add-ons and more than 150 Fallout 4 Creation Club items.
The recap also covered Fallout 76: Burning Springs, a New Vegas 15th Anniversary Bundle, a Fallout Shelter update called Seasons, historical promotions and Fallout merchandise. The later Fallout 76 news for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S belongs to a separate 2026 announcement, not the 2025 broadcast.
What is included in Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition?
Bethesda says the Anniversary Edition combines Fallout 4’s base game with all six official add-ons and more than 150 curated Creation Club items. The add-ons are:

Bethesda initially scheduled the digital edition for November 10, 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PC and PlayStation 5, with a Switch 2 version planned for 2026. Its product page subsequently lists availability on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition on Nintendo Switch 2
Bethesda released the Switch 2 edition on February 24, 2026. It includes the base game, the same six official add-ons and more than 150 curated Creation Club items. Unlike versions with a Creations menu, the Switch 2 edition has no such menu: the included content is built into the game.

A physical version is sold as code-in-box. Bethesda’s announcement does not describe it as a cartridge, and availability can vary by region and retailer.
Fallout 76’s PS5 and Xbox Series X|S update came later
On June 2, 2026, Bethesda announced a public testing period during June for Fallout 76 versions targeting Xbox Series X|S and PS5, including PS5 Pro. The testing was for people who own Fallout 76. Bethesda said it planned to release the update later that summer; that announcement alone does not confirm that the update subsequently shipped.

Fallout 76: Burning Springs
Bethesda announced Burning Springs as a free update planned for December 2, 2025. Set in post-nuclear Ohio, it adds new characters and bounty-hunting missions featuring The Ghoul, voiced by Walton Goggins.

Sales, trial and merchandise
The recap promoted a limited Fallout 1st trial from October 21–28, 2025, and Fallout Day sale windows running from October 17 through November 5, depending on platform. Those offers have expired. Bethesda’s merchandise article listed a Fallout Day 2025 tee, the New Vegas bundle and a Desert Ranger wearable battle helmet replica with a display stand and illuminated eye lenses; the announcement does not establish current stock.
