SOUL led the BGIS 2026 Grand Finals after Day 1 with 66 points, three ahead of GODL on 63. VS was third with 57. The standings cover the first six matches and are a Day 1 snapshot—not the tournament’s final result. Day 1 coverage was published March 27, 2026, and Day 2 began March 28.
BGIS 2026 standings after Day 1
The table below reports each team’s match wins (WWCD), position points, finish points and total points after six matches. The standings pages report the following order:

What stood out from Day 1
SOUL held a narrow lead over GODL
SOUL’s 66 points put it three ahead of GODL. Their totals came from different mixes: SOUL had one WWCD, 18 position points and 48 finish points; GODL had two WWCDs, 21 position points and 42 finish points.
VS, WF and GENS were tightly grouped
VS’s 57 points placed it two ahead of WF on 55. GENS followed at 54, just one point behind WF. GENS recorded no WWCD but had 44 finish points, the highest finish-points total in the table.

K9 and MYTH shared the same total
K9 and MYTH each had 24 points, with identical reported components: zero WWCDs, 10 position points and 14 finish points. The standings list K9 11th and MYTH 12th, but the result pages do not explain the tie-break basis.
How to read the BGIS points table
WWCD means “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner” and counts match wins. Position points and finish points are shown separately; adding those components gives each team’s total. For example, SOUL’s 18 position points plus 48 finish points equal 66.

The Grand Finals format is a 16-team, 18-match event over three days. Teams accumulate points for placement and finishes under the competition rules. Since this table covers only the first six matches, the remaining matches could change the order.

The Day 1 totals and reported ranking are corroborated by Fossbytes’ BGIS 2026 Day 1 points table and Chennaionline’s standings report. The official BGIS competition rules describe the Grand Finals format and scoring categories. The table is therefore a historical Day 1 result, not a final standings claim.
