BGMI’s 3.3 update announcement highlighted Ocean Odyssey, Supercars, a new X-Suit, rewards and Aquatic Quest Royale Pass A8. It also listed a Neeraj Chopra-themed lucky crate and an Independence Day crate. The announcement established those features, but not a specific Supercar model or a precise BGMI rollout schedule.
What KRAFTON India announced for BGMI 3.3
KRAFTON India’s feature summary named the following content:
- Ocean Odyssey Theme Mode: an ocean-themed mode, identified by name in the announcement.
- Supercars: the post advertised Supercars but did not identify a particular make or model.
- A new X-Suit and rewards.
- Aquatic Quest Royale Pass A8.
- Themed crates: a Neeraj Chopra-themed lucky crate and an Independence Day crate.
These are BGMI features as listed in KRAFTON India’s announcement. PUBG MOBILE’s related Version 3.3 materials offer more detail about Ocean Odyssey, but they describe a different regional release.
What Ocean Odyssey looked like in PUBG MOBILE
The official PUBG MOBILE Ocean Odyssey event page presents an underwater setting featuring a giant kraken, submerged statues and a mysterious palace. KRAFTON Japan’s account of PUBG MOBILE Version 3.3.0 describes the mode’s mechanics in more detail. Those mechanics are useful context for the shared theme, not confirmation that every element appeared in BGMI.

Palaces, loot and the Trident
In KRAFTON Japan’s description, players could dive into submerged palaces at two map locations. A special water membrane let them move as if on land inside. Players eliminated in a palace could revive there, and loot crates were available. After a set time, players could pull a Trident; doing so triggered drops, including a Poseidon revival card, and started the palace flooding. Players then had to escape before oxygen ran out.
Other PUBG MOBILE attractions
The same PUBG MOBILE description mentions a Stranded Ruin switch that opened an entrance, Water Cubes containing crates, and a whale escape pod that could carry up to four players to the safe zone. KRAFTON India’s BGMI feature summary does not confirm these specific mechanics. The BGMI official site’s search-result excerpt separately mentions water tunnels, a Trident and a Stingray vehicle, but that excerpt alone does not establish that every PUBG MOBILE detail carried over to BGMI.

What the dates do—and do not—confirm
KRAFTON Japan’s July 12, 2024 announcement said PUBG MOBILE Version 3.3.0 was updated starting July 11, 2024. It scheduled that game’s Ocean Odyssey mode from July 11 through September 10, 2024, ending at 5:59; the cited passage does not specify a timezone. Its listed options included TPP and FPP, Solo, Duo and Squad, and ranked and unranked Erangel plus ranked Sanhok and Livik.
Those dates and mode options belong to PUBG MOBILE’s regional release, not a verified BGMI rollout schedule. The schedule ended in 2024; the cited sources do not establish whether Ocean Odyssey later returned. Accordingly, BGMI 3.3 and the original PUBG MOBILE event window should be understood in their 2024 release context, not as evidence that the mode is currently available.
