The BGMI codes reported on August 28, 2023 are historical, unverified listings—not confirmed working codes. Two articles published that day gave different code lists, and no official Krafton source reviewed here validates either list or confirms that the codes grant free UC. To check a code, use BGMI’s official redemption page and look for any reward in your in-game mail.
What is known about the August 28, 2023 BGMI codes?
TechTimes and Livemint each published a BGMI code list on August 28, 2023, but their lists differ. These were secondary reports, not official code-validation records. The available official sources do not establish which, if any, codes Krafton issued for that date or whether any of them can still be redeemed. Treat any strings reproduced from those articles as unverified historical claims, not guaranteed rewards.
Neither list is confirmed by the official sources reviewed here as a way to get free UC, skins, or other items. Krafton’s August 10, 2023 notice about a Dragon Ball Exclusive Crate Coupon concerned a separate issue after update 2.7.0; it said that coupon would work normally from August 10 at 05:30 and does not verify the August 28 lists. How to redeem a BGMI code
The BGMI Help Center instructs players to enter a Character ID, redemption code, and verification code, then select Redeem. If the redemption succeeds, check the account’s in-game mail for the reward.

- Open the official BGMI redemption page: https://www.battlegroundsmobileindia.com/redeem.
- Enter your Character ID, the redemption code, and the verification code shown on the page.
- Select Redeem.
- Open BGMI and check in-game mail for the reward.
These steps explain the redemption process; they do not establish that a particular code is valid. A third-party article listing a code is not proof that BGMI will accept it. Do not give your password or account access to an unofficial site or service offering to redeem a code for you.

There is no official confirmation in the sources reviewed that the August 28, 2023 code lists award UC. Krafton describes UC as in-game currency used for in-game purchases. Its Rules of Conduct, effective February 19, 2024, state: “You cannot transfer UC to other users, and you cannot redeem UC for any type of actual currency or fiat money.” That later rule describes UC’s limits; it does not verify the date-specific codes.
