Gold Digger is a limited-time BitLife challenge, so availability is not guaranteed. A community-maintained challenge archive records the original event as running from March 23 through March 27, 2020. A Destructoid walkthrough dated August 17, 2026 describes a Gold Digger challenge as that week’s event, but that dated article does not prove that the event is still playable on your device now. Open BitLife’s Challenges area and confirm that Gold Digger is listed before investing time in a run.

What the Gold Digger Challenge actually requires

The four requirements are tracked together, but they do not all resolve at the same moment. The no-job condition is safest to preserve until death. Marriage count and divorce proceeds can be completed while the character is alive, and the Lamborghini can be purchased whenever the dealership offers one.

Protect the no-job requirement from the first year onward
Do not accept full-time or part-time work
Skip every career and job offer. That includes part-time employment, even if it looks like an easy way to fund the first date or vehicle. The challenge wording is about never having a job during the character’s life, so a job accepted briefly and later abandoned still risks disqualifying the run.
When advancing through the age-up menu, read the event and activity labels rather than tapping through automatically. If a choice would add employment, cancel it. Keep a mental note that the character should have no employment history before each age-up.
Use non-job ways to obtain starting cash
The walkthrough suggests asking family for help, taking freelance gigs, or using crimes that pay as ways to obtain initial funds without a conventional job. These are tactics rather than guaranteed outcomes. If your version labels a freelance activity as employment or adds it to a job history, avoid it and use another route; the no-job condition is more important than early cash. Crime can also fail or create unrelated problems, so do not depend on one specific payout.

Find wealthy partners through the Dating App
Open the search at age 18
The suggested route begins using the Dating App when the character is 18. Choose an older age range and set the net-worth preference to the highest available level. This narrows the pool toward older, wealthier matches instead of producing a random search dominated by people with modest assets.
Read the match indicators, then select a strong candidate
Look for a match showing a high money indicator. The indicator is a selection aid, not a promise that a future divorce will produce a particular amount. Choose the strongest available candidate, then inspect the relationship before proposing.
Build the relationship before proposing
Use conversation, compliments, and time together to improve the relationship. A proposal can be attempted again later if the partner refuses, so a rejection does not require abandoning the entire run. Continue strengthening the relationship or return to the Dating App for another wealthy candidate if the match remains unwilling.
Because the challenge has a cumulative divorce target, do not stop after finding one wealthy partner. You need a repeatable sequence that produces at least three marriages and enough proceeds to cross $1 million.
Complete the marry–divorce cycle without protecting the money
Decline the prenup
If BitLife offers a prenuptial agreement, decline it for this challenge. The walkthrough specifically recommends marrying without a prenup because the objective depends on receiving money when the marriage ends. A prenup can limit what is available during divorce and may prevent the proceeds you need.
Marry, record the result, and divorce
- Propose after the relationship is strong enough.
- Accept the marriage only when no prenup is protecting the partner’s assets.
- Use the divorce option after the marriage is complete.
- Check the money received and add it to your running divorce total.
- Return to the Dating App and repeat with another wealthy partner.
The guide does not establish a fixed payout per divorce. Proceeds vary, so one marriage may contribute far less than $1 million. Keep a running total rather than assuming that three divorces automatically satisfy the money objective. Continue marrying and divorcing until the challenge tracker or your own records show at least $1,000,000 received through divorces.

Use children only as an optional tactic
The walkthrough suggests that having children may improve divorce proceeds. Present this as an experiment, not a rule: the source does not guarantee a larger settlement, and it does not specify how many children would be needed. Children also add responsibilities and do not replace the requirement to marry at least three times. If you use this tactic, verify the actual divorce amount after each settlement instead of counting on a predicted bonus.
How to reach the $1 million divorce target reliably
The target is cumulative money from spouses through divorce. A character who earns $1 million from freelance work, crimes, gifts, or another source has not completed this objective unless the divorce proceeds themselves total at least $1 million.
Track each settlement
After every divorce, note the amount shown in the result. Add only the money attributed to that divorce. If a settlement is small, do not treat the partner’s visible net worth as money you received. Use the next Dating App search to find another high-money match and continue the cycle.
Do not stop at exactly three marriages if the total is short
Three marriages satisfy the count requirement, but they may not satisfy the financial requirement. The safest interpretation is “three or more” marriages and “at least $1 million” in proceeds. A fourth or later marriage is acceptable if the challenge is still active and the cumulative divorce total has not reached the threshold.
Keep the no-job rule active while pursuing money
Repeated dating and divorcing can take many in-game years. Do not accept a job simply because the character needs cash for dates, legal costs, or a vehicle. The employment restriction continues until the life ends, so the financial grind must use the non-job options described earlier.

Buy the Lamborghini inside BitLife
Use the exact purchase path
- Open Assets.
- Select Go Shopping.
- Enter a car dealership.
- Review the available inventory for a Lamborghini.
- Buy the Lamborghini when it appears and confirm that it is listed among the character’s assets.
This is an in-game asset objective. You do not need a physical Lamborghini, a toy, a model, or any external product. The purchase must occur through BitLife’s own Assets and dealership menus.
Reroll a missing vehicle
Dealership inventory is randomized according to the walkthrough. If no Lamborghini appears, reopen the app or age up and check the dealership again. Inventory can change after those actions, but neither method guarantees that the car will appear on the next refresh. Continue protecting the no-job condition while you search.
Buying another car does not substitute for a Lamborghini. If your available balance is limited, delay optional purchases and preserve enough money to buy the target vehicle when it appears. The source does not state a universal Lamborghini price, so do not plan around a fixed amount; use the price shown by your current dealership.
Manage the run between major objectives
Age-ups are where accidental failures are easiest to create. Before each birthday, scan every prompt for a job, career, or part-time offer and reject it. Keep your divorce total and marriage count in a simple note outside the game so a small settlement does not get mistaken for the million-dollar threshold. After a marriage ends, verify that the relationship is no longer active before selecting the next Dating App match.

Do not confuse a partner’s displayed net worth with the amount transferred in a settlement. Only the divorce result counts toward the money objective. Gifts, ordinary bank interest, crime proceeds, and family assistance can help you function during the run, but they should not be added to the divorce ledger.
Finish the life so the challenge can register
After the marriage count, divorce proceeds, and Lamborghini objectives are complete, keep the character unemployed and age up until the character dies. The walkthrough recommends finishing the life because the no-job objective may register only when the life is over. Do not take a final temporary or part-time job while waiting for completion.
Check the challenge screen after the death event. If all four conditions were met while the challenge was active, the completion state should appear there. If one condition is missing, identify the specific gap before starting another run: a recorded job, fewer than three marriages, less than $1 million in divorce proceeds, or no Lamborghini in the asset list.
Troubleshooting common failure points
The challenge is not listed
Verify the Challenges area before continuing. The 2020 archive date and the August 17, 2026 walkthrough describe different event windows, and neither establishes permanent availability. If Gold Digger is not listed, the run may not be eligible for a current reward.
A job was accepted accidentally
The safest response is to restart with a new character. The objective is phrased as never having a job, and quitting the job later does not erase the fact that it was accepted. Do not assume that part-time employment is exempt.
The partner rejected the proposal
Improve the relationship with more conversation, compliments, and time together, then propose again. If the match remains unwilling, search for another high-money Dating App result. A single rejection does not require abandoning the challenge.
The divorce paid less than expected
There is no established fixed payout per divorce. Record the actual amount, continue with another wealthy partner, and add settlements until the cumulative total reaches $1 million. Do not substitute net worth, gifts, or ordinary income for divorce proceeds.
No Lamborghini is in the dealership
Inventory is randomized. Reopen the app or age up, then follow Assets → Go Shopping → car dealership again. Check the asset list after purchase so you know the vehicle registered before ending the life.
The challenge did not complete after the character died
Review each requirement separately. Confirm that no full-time or part-time job was ever accepted, that at least three marriages occurred, that the recorded divorce settlements total at least $1 million, and that a Lamborghini is owned in the game. Also confirm that Gold Digger was active in the Challenges area when the run began.

The Dating App settings are a targeting tool, not a guarantee. An older age range and the highest net-worth preference may reduce the number of matches, but they focus your searches on the kind of partner the divorce objective needs. A broader search can produce more candidates, yet it may also consume more years before a strong money indicator appears. Use the narrower settings first and widen them only when the available pool is empty.

Likewise, there is no proven “best” order for buying the Lamborghini versus completing the divorces. Buying early confirms that the vehicle objective is handled, but it ties up cash that might be useful for other activities. Waiting lets you retain funds while you build the divorce total, but you must leave enough life span to refresh the dealership. Either order works as long as the car is purchased before death.

Optional merchandise is unrelated to completion
BitLife’s official help center describes quests in the Marketplace and official merchandise accessible through the game’s Community area. That merchandise is not required for Gold Digger, and owning a physical product cannot satisfy the Lamborghini objective. The challenge is completed entirely with the game’s own menus and virtual currency or assets.
A practical run order
- Open the Challenges area and verify that Gold Digger is currently available.
- Create a character and reject every full-time and part-time job opportunity.
- Use a permitted non-job source such as family help, a suitable freelance activity that is not classified as employment in your version, or a paying crime if necessary.
- At age 18, use the Dating App with an older age range and the highest net-worth preference.
- Select a match with a high money indicator and build the relationship before proposing.
- Decline the prenup, marry, divorce, and record the settlement.
- Repeat the relationship cycle until you have at least three marriages and at least $1 million in divorce proceeds.
- Open Assets, choose Go Shopping, enter the dealership, and buy a Lamborghini when one appears.
- Keep avoiding jobs and age up until death.
