Black Myth: Wukong’s PS5 Physical Edition Released on December 12, 2024

“Very soon” was Game Science’s wording for the Black Myth: Wukong physical PS5 edition in an announcement posted on October 20, 2024—not a release date. The studio gave no exact date in that post. PM Studios later listed the edition’s release date as December 12, 2024.

What did “very soon” mean?

On October 20, 2024, the official Black Myth: Wukong account thanked players for their patience and said the PS5 physical edition would be available “very soon” now that its master disc was ready. The announcement, reproduced by VGC, did not give a calendar date or a more specific timeframe. TechRadar’s October 21, 2024 coverage likewise noted that no definitive timescale had been provided.
