Did the full Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 campaign really leak online?
Not on the evidence described in the available reporting. GameSpot reported that campaign cutscenes had leaked, while Insider Gaming also described a cutscene leak. Neither account, as summarized in the reporting, confirms that players could access a complete playable campaign or a full campaign build. Calling the incident a confirmed “full campaign” leak therefore goes beyond what those reports establish.
The distinction matters: cutscene files, playable missions, and a complete game build are different kinds of material. The reports support the first description, not the latter two. GameSpot’s report and Insider Gaming’s report are the cited accounts of the incident.
What reportedly leaked, and when?
The outlets described leaked campaign cutscenes. Their reporting placed the incident in August 2024, more than two months ahead of the planned October 25, 2024 launch. No verified count of clips, measure of reach, or precise account of how long copies remained available is established by these reports.

Official promotional footage is a separate category. In its August 20, 2024 “Most Wanted” mission preview, Call of Duty said the footage consisted of truncated segments of one mission. That was an official preview, not evidence about the authenticity or extent of the material described in leak reports.
In an August 28, 2024 post, the official Call of Duty blog advised readers: “Misinformation is everywhere: Ensure you stay one step ahead with the latest official Black Ops 6 information by checking the Call of Duty Blog in the weeks up to launch with important comms you won’t want to miss.” That guidance concerned official updates; it was not a confirmation or denial of the reported leak.
